It wasn't long after the brief conversation with Kokushibo, that Muzan caught wind of Akaza's return. He sauntered over slowly, giving a short bow of his head as a respect. His hands were still dyed in red, which was dried and crusted to his dark hued fingers. Pulling a cloth from his pocket, Muzan offered it without a single word. Once accepted, he let Akaza begin to clean his hands before he raised his tone, shooing Kokushibo off. He figured the Uppermoon 1 would head toward Tanjirou's location, especially after being handed the role of a guard for the human.
"You took your time, but well done. I'm to assume all culprits are dead?" Akaza sighed, nodding.
"It was an easy fight, pointless even. They talked some shit and died without a single bit of resistance. Even so, I accomplished my mission. Which also makes me wonder why you had me hunt that garbage?"
"If you're curious, speak with someone else. I've no desire to repeat myself. All you need to know is that there is a human guest here and to keep him from harm. I've plans for him in the future." There was a lingering silence, the Uppermoon giving a curious expression. Of course, he was quick to shove his doubts away.
"As you say. I'll speak with another to figure out all the details, but may I know the name. It's more in case I have a run in for the first time. I'd like to make the hospitality more fruitful, since you've plans for this human." Muzan smirked, narrowing his gaze.
"That was well said. His name is Tanjirou, located on the South end. Kokushibo has been assigned his personal guard for the time." Akaza nodded, running his hand along his hair. He took in a long breath before glancing toward where some of the lower moons were coming in. They trembled without stop, leaving Akaza to scowl. He truly didn't understand why they had even a slight bit of power when they were useless. In the end he swallowed his hatred and bowed once more.
"I'll take my leave, check on the others. It's best someone keep Daki in check." Muzan gave a short nod, understanding that well. Daki wasn't a major issue, but Muzan was more fearful she would be rude to the guest; or worse, get too attached. It was one thing to become friendly, but Daki held onto those that she deemed cute and attractive.
"That may be for the best." Akaza hummed before he turned on his heels, taking his leave as Muzan shifted his blood hued eyes to those lowermoon that were trailing in, his expression falling into something of disgust as he sharpened his gaze and made his way to face those that were of little worth to him in recent times.
Back with Tanjirou, he had been sleeping for a short amount of time before he was startled awake without warning. It left him sitting up as he heard the knock along the door, bringing him to rise to his feet and wander over. His fingers tugged the sliding door open before he felt his breath catch in his lungs. "You must be Tanjirou."
"I-I am... You are?" Tanjirou took a step back, viewing the new figure enter the space. The hair of the male was long, dyed a dark hue or red and black, but that wasn't the main feature that caught Tanjirou by surprise. It as the concept that the individual had more than two eyes. While it was a bit unsettling, Tanjirou still tried to ignore the feeling that welled in his stomach; something of confusion and concern.
"Name's Kokushibo, you're guard." Kokushibo closed the door to the room before he took a seat before the door, leaving Tanjirou even more so confused on everything. It was hard to tell whether he was being confined or if it was accidental for Kokushibo to block the door. "I can see why he claimed you look like him..."
"Look like who?" the question brought all six eyes on him, leaving him to fall silent as he shifted his head elsewhere.
"Does my appearance unsettle you?" Tanjirou felt himself freeze momentarily. He felt ultimately guilty for his actions, his gaze finally holding eye contact.
"It's not a normal sight, but that's just because I'm not used to it. I didn't mean to offend, if I had." Kokushibo stayed silent before he sighed, tilting his head briefly.
"Well, I should give a fair warning beforehand. Those of us here aren't entirely normal. We all have some odd characteristics that stand out. Similar to the mark along your forehead; just something more pronounced." There was a lingering silence before Tanjirou widened his gaze, bringing his words into the open.
"So, like a birth defect or sorts?" Kokushibo rolled his many eyes before shrugging, his tone low and monotone.
"Sure, let's go with that."
"Can I ask what other things to expect from the others here?" Kokushibo raised a brow, giving a moment of silence before Tanjirou added onto his statement. "Like... You know, what they have different about them and their names. I'd like to be able to know beforehand, to tell whom is who."
There was a lingering silence once more as Kokushibo thought through who to even start with. He wasn't fond of Douma and in his opinion, wished to ultimately forget the second Uppermoon existed. Which left him beginning with the third Uppermoon, who was the most likable in a way; though, his obsession with fights was often annoying to Kokushibo. "The first other you'd most likely meet sooner than later would be Akaza. You can tell who he is by the obnoxious pink hair and dark lines that trace his body in places. He's one of the few I'd say is safe to speak with."
"There are some that are unsafe?" The look of assurance only made Tanjirou hesitate before Kokushibo carried on.
"Douma is a red flag. Just try to avoid him, if at all possible, for your own sanity. He's a terrible influence, especially to someone like you." Nodding slowly, Kokushibo took another breath. "Then there is Nakime. You'll rarely speak with them, but they are the kind one here. They often have bangs that hang over their face and are the quiet type."
"Anyone else?"
"There are the siblings; Gyutaro and Daki. Gyutaro is malformed and oddly proportioned, while his sister is a beauty of sorts. An odd pair, but Daki is quite possessive to the things she deems as beautiful and attractive." Tanjirou stayed silent for a moment, taking a spot on the bed before he tilted his head.
"Would she say I'm beautiful?" The question made Kokushibo freeze momentarily, his shoulders rising and falling before he blew out a rough breath. He wasn't going to answer that for his own sanity.
"Those are the main individuals you'll see, so bare what I said in mind, Tanjirou." Nodding, Tanjirou opened his mouth before his silence became obvious the moment Kokushibo felt the door behind him be forced open. In a single moment he fell backwards, falling to the floor as all six eyes narrowed as he was left staring up to Daki and all her glory she showed. It left him to look elsewhere, taking note to how she practically stepped on him as she entered the room and grew closer to Tanjirou. Her hands reached out, landing along the other's shoulder's as Kokushibo sighed with un-amusement. His worst fears had come to life the moment he could make out her glistening eyes of sheer amusement and joy; her words like a whisper that was far too loud.
"This must be the guest Muzan-sama brought himself! Quiet the looker you are, so cute and small in comparison!" The words left Tanjirou silent, his eyes shifting away as he felt his face grow warm at the situation. At the open skin before him. It made him clench his eyes shut in embarrassment as Daki gave a confused glance toward Kokushibo. "What's wrong with him? Am I just that stunning?"
"Don't flatter yourself. You're lacking modesty and he's as pure as they come. Figure out the rest yourself." She made an understanding look before smiling, her hands rising as they laid together.
"Innocent and cute; just as all like him should be!" She chuckled lightly before her joy seemed to shift as footsteps could be heard, her gaze falling to none other than Muzan, who wore confusion like a mask. Not that his words help him for a single moment, beyond forcing Tanjirou to open his eyes and see the sight lying before him.
"What did I miss?"
