To say that Tanjirou was embarrassed would be an understatement. He was completely caught off guard by quite the number of things. The first was the individual before him who was rather exposed. While her body was covered in the smallest degree, Tanjirou had to admit there was far too much skin showing for his comfort. She was stunning, even he had to admit. But as someone who once was an older brother and grew up with the centralized idea that females should cover themselves better, this situation was hard to grasp.
Of course, that wasn't the only thing the bothered him. He still was trying to grasp the concept that Kokushibo had six eyes as a total. It was hard to believe it was true, but then again, the proof was right before him. To make matters worse, Tanjirou had acted out of his usual manner because of his shock. He felt bad in a way, but part of him justified his reaction.
The last point was the previous conversation. Tanjirou had been given certain qualities of those he'd meet and the more he heard, the harder it was to truly believe that there wasn't something he didn't know about. He wasn't dumb, not even for a moment. While he was kind and generous, he still had his doubts. There would still be questions and concerns, along with fears and worries. This situation only created some of those concerns; mainly focused on the single concept that raced through his thoughts and overwhelmed his mind. He was truly curious what exactly they were.
He knew better than anyone that magic wasn't a reality. That it was fake. But that truth only made him consider how he arrived in the room. Muzan had deemed it as such, but even Tanjirou had been aware of the lie the was laced into those words. While it didn't change that Tanjirou was ever so grateful to Muzan, it did make him consider that maybe Muzan hid the truth for a good reason and that in time he may become aware of the facts that he was lacking knowledge of.
In the end, Tanjirou had dismissed his mind of many things as he focused on the present space. He was still stuck staring into the cleavage of the individual before him, leaving his situation a bit more unnerving for him. Even when he directed his eyes elsewhere, it was almost like it found something else to latch onto, be that Kokushibo's eyes or Muzan's overall appearance. He did have to admit from what he'd seen however, that the group he was now living with were indeed odd in their own way. Then again, that wasn't always a bad thing and Tanjirou knew that.
"I leave him here for less than an hour or two and you are already bothering him, Daki?" The female seemed to stay silent momentarily, her gaze shifting back toward Tanjirou.
"I wasn't bothering him, Muzan-sama. I was merely introducing myself and giving him a warm welcome!" There was a lingering silence before Muzan sighed, peering to Kokushibo, who was still sprawled along the floor and making no movements to get up.
"Might I inquire what happened with you?" Kokushibo said not a word, his hand pointing to Daki as he closed his eyes, leaving a heavy sigh to roll from Muzan's lips. It in turn made Daki hesitate momentarily before Tanjirou took note of the reaction and while it confused him a bit, it urged him to help out. To correct the misunderstanding, especially since Daki was doing anything but bothering Tanjirou.
"She hasn't bothered me for a single moment, I was just taken back by her appearance. I'm not used to such revealing attire on someone of her bodily proportions." Muzan seemed to understand as he shifted his expression, holding eye contact with Daki.
"I see. Then I expect she'll understand and change into something more suitable. Isn't that correct, Daki?" She gave a nod, her smile showing as she peered to Tanjirou, giving a thankful glance before she made her way from the room. It left the three alone for a moment, leaving Muzan to wander into the rooms space and over Kokushibo. "I apologize it got hectic so quickly. Turns out most are curious about your sudden residence here."
"Is it a bad thing?" Muzan shook his head, taking a seat beside Tanjirou along the bed.
"I'd not say it's bad, but curiosity often makes them pry into matters that shouldn't be forced to be revealed. Still, I hope nothing has upset you. I was hoping you'd get some sleep, but I assume Kokushibo woke you." Tanjirou nodded before he added on his own words.
"He did, but that's more than fine. I wasn't entirely tired yet, so I figured the time to talk and get to know him would help. I've been notified of some of the people here, so I'm excited to meet them." That smile that warmed Muzan's heart rolled onto Tanjirou's features, leaving the other to take in the moment before he spoke calmly.
"Is that so. Which would you like to meet first?"
"I'm not sure. But I enjoyed Daki, so it would be nice to meet her brother. I believe his name was Gyutaro, from what Kokushibo said." Muzan nodded, closing his eyes momentarily.
"Gyutaro is correct. I won't bother him now, but next time you see Daki, I'm sure Gyutaro will be alongside her. Now then, whether you're tired or not, I'd suggest getting sleep. I still have to head back and collect a few things, so you'll have to tag along in the evening." Tanjirou nodded, watching Muzan rise to his feet. He sauntered toward the door before kicking Kokushibo lightly. It left him to stand and exit the room before those bloody hued eyes met Tanjirou's. "Try to get some rest and I'll be sure to have a time where you can meet everyone."
"That would be nice, Muzan. Good night." The words were gentle, Muzan watching Tanjirou climb beneath the covers before the Demon King stepped beyond the room, his words soft and out of character for him. Yet it was still a nice feeling that gripped him tightly.
"Good night as well, Tanjirou." Closing the door, Muzan stepped further down before he noted Kokushibo, who wore a calm expression. One that Muzan needed no word to explain. He already knew that he had changed briefly, and it made the Demon King truly wonder; just how much would he change along with the others in the days to come?
