Eva sat in her room sipping on a cup of black coffee. It was leaving a bitter taste in her mouth, but she drank it anyway. They didn't find anything and it was getting late. Eva decided to call it a day when someone banged on her door. It sounded frantic. Eve sprung up and without a second thought. It was Lilly, her hair was down and messy. She was out of breath and laughed. "W...We found something!" Eva's eyes widened. "Show me!!" she almost shouted. Lilly gestured for her to follow. They jogged down the hallway and burst through the door. Jim and Shelly were already there sitting on the bed staring at a silver laptop. Lilly grabbed it and turned it around for Eva to see. On the screen was a Frame from a video player. " We looked, and it seems to be a large bipedal creature."Shelly explained. Eva cooked her head at the image and Lilly reached forwards to press the space bar. The video began to play, Eva watched as a black shape moved quickly across the screen and disappeared. "It moves really fast, so we slowed it down and took some screenshots. Here they are" Lilly explained, moving the mouse cursor to an open tab underneath. She clicked and opened an image. It was dark and a bit fuzzy but Eva could make out a large animal. It had a long snout and tail. "Jesus Christ, it's huge" Eva blurted. She looked at her team, "do we have any lead on where it could be." They all simultaneously shook their heads. Eva frowned and looked at the picture again. It almost looked like a ghost. Eva straightened up. A ghost! "Lilly let me see the computer she demanded. Lilly moved and Eva grabbed it, hastily clicking on a search engine and typing in "ghost sightings in the small town of Oakwood".

Results came fast and were exactly what she was looking for. She clicked on a website. She spun the computer around to her team. It was a social media post about an abandoned house that had ghost sightings similar to the footage in the security camera. "This is our first lead." Eva stated. She looked at Jim, "I will do some more searching, please find out who owns the house and call them. Ask if we can look around," Eva said. They nodded and Eva made her way back to her room.

The next day was a bright one. The tempter had skyrocketed. It seemed that the house was abandoned but owned under the name Jack Wilson. They had tried to call him but he had been reported deceased. However when they called the bank, they said that payments were still being made on it. Something didn't add up. Eva decided that they would still go to the property and look around. If they found something then they would investigate farther. That took her to the current moment. They were parked outside of the house. It was large and plain. The whitish paint was cracked and chipped. The door was a simple brown wood and the window had a large black out curtain hanging in front of them preventing her and her team from looking inside. She got out, Michal following. She signaled for the rest of her team to exit. Jim, Lilly and Shelly got out closely followed by the two guards whose names were Ben and Luke. They wore bullet proof vests, Ben held a gun with tranquilizers while Luke had a stun gun and net. The rest of the crew had small tasers for protection.

They spread out looking around, Eva walked around the side of the building. It was overgrown with weeds and bore no clues. She ran her hand over the brick. This house was old. Her head shot up when she heard Lilly shout for them. Jogging back to the front she found Lilly and Jim standing on the porch. They had opened the front door. " We think we found something!" Lilly proclaimed breathlessly. Eva smiled "show me."

They stepped inside. It was extremely dusty like nothing had been touched in years. But strangely there was a trail devoid of dust. Eva bent down and looked at a print in the dust. It was the creatures. Eva stood up and walked along the trail. It led to a large black metal hatch. She ran her hand over it and tried to lift it. It was heavy. "Help me lift this."

The others moved over. Jim and Lilly grabbed part of it and they tried to move it. It barely budged. Shelly and the guards joined them and they managed to open it with a loud creak and thud as they pushed it back. They were met with an inky back void. Ben pulled out a large flashlight and illuminated a set of stairs. "Let's go!!" he exclaimed.
