Welcome to A Prison of Ice & Fear; Promised Ruler's Book 1
This is a Narnia Fanfiction and you will definitely gain greater appreciation for the events if you have seen the movie/read the book, however, it's not totally necessary as this book does follow an original character.
This fic is of the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, however, I have of course made my own changes.
First, all the children are aged up.
In the original story the ages are supposed to be as follows;
Peter: 13
Susan: 12
Edmund: 10
Lucy: 8
In this story I have aged all the characters up by three years, which is fairly in keeping with their appearance and attitudes in the movie;
Peter: 16
Susan: 15
Edmund: 13
Lucy: 11
This age up means that when they eventually leave Narnia they will be 31, 30, 28 and 26.
Secondly, in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, the Narnians are unaware of other countries in their world as it is a pre-expansion age. In this fic, the concept is that Jadis caught a scout who sailed to Narnia from a distant land and forced him to take her to his kingdom, the kingdom Cressida is from. This plot point is critical to Cressida's story as will become apparent very early on.
This story is NOT mature and has very little spice compared to my previous fic, Darling Ellie, as the characters are younger.
