Chapter 1 || Church

"Katsuki, you better sit with your legs together right now!" Mitsuki whispered to her bratty son who just wouldn't sit right in the pews. He was slouching and had both his legs spread out as far as he could just out of spite for his Mom. Don't get me wrong, he loved her and all, but sometimes she could be a bitch.

The ash blonde male looked at her before rolling his eyes as he pulled out his phone, just scrolling through his Insta at this point. The preiset was just sitting there since they had just finished communion, which was probably the most movement people got to do in the whole mass.

"Please rise"

Everyone in the church stood up. Katsuki reluctantly stood up after a minute or two of being glared at by his mother.

"In the name of the father, son and holy spirit. May you go forth to love and serve the lord"

"As if the lord needs more fuckin worshippers" Katsuki muttered under his breath as he looked around at the crowd that turned up today. He made eye contact with another boy on the other side of the aisle but the other had looked away almost immediately. "Heh what a pussy, he was totally staring"

As soon as he had said that, the uptune go forth song started playing and people slowly started to file out of the building. Of course, there were also the few who liked to stay till the very end to clap for the choir and music ensemble. Unfortunately for Katsuki, that person was his Mom.

"Ugh Mom can we just go already? Literally everyone is gone!" he complained as he stepped out of the pew. "I have a game that's starting in like half an hour"

"Well if you don't fix that behavior soon young man, then i'm going to have to take away your gaming things" Mitski said, not taking any more of her son's bullshit.

"Whatever" he responded, getting pissed off with her now. "I'm heading to the car, '' he said before heading out of the church building. Outside, there were quite a few people talking with each other about who knows what. The blonde didn't really care to find out so he made a beeline for the car.

All of a sudden someone grabbed his arm, stopping him in his path. "Hello. What's your name?" a voice asked.

Katsuki turned around. It was the boy from before. "Katsuki Bakugo. And to what dumbass do i owe the pleasure of speaking with on this fucking perfect day?" he asked back, being a little too scarcastic.

The mixed matched eyes observed him closely but showed no sign of how the male was taking this type of response. His red and white hair, he looked like a cute candy cane. "Im Shouto Todoroki. Nice to meet you" he responded casually, glancing down at him before backing up to his eyes. He gave him a small smirk and then looked away. "Cya around!" he said before walking away.

The blonde was left in a state of confusion and just a little bit horny. Although he didn't understand why he felt this way. "Fucker-" he muttered as he walked ot the car and leanded agaisnt it,

While this was happening, Mitsuki had walked out of the church and started talking to the people she knew, which was mostly everyone. Then she saw him. A member from the Knights of Columbus. She had recognized him because he had a son who was in Katsuki's class one year.

"Enji! Good seeing you here today" she said, when she had walked up to him.

"Nice to see you here too Mitsuki. Where is your son? I thought you would bring him to church as well on a day like this" Enji responded, looking around.

"Oh yeah, he's waiting for me in the car- '' She replied before getting an idea. "You have a son who's in Katsuki's grade right? I believe his name is Shoto. I think it would be good sometime for the two of them to get together and study. Maybe he could teach Katsuki some manners for once"

Enji raised his eyebrows. "That's not a bad idea. I've been trying to get Shoto to go out and socialize but he doesn't seem to want to. I think this would be good for both of them to get to know each other a bit more as well, don't you?" he added, thinking about this.

"Agreed. Maybe tomorrow evening I could drop Katsuki off at the chapel for the youth group? He is still 17 so he can go. You are the teacher for that so I'd assume you guys would be there early right?"

"Correct. And that's fine with me. You can drop him off at 5, the actual class is at 6 but I do get there early to clean up and plan ahead. Shouto and Katsuki can just hang around and talk till then" the man said, checking his phone.

The two of them could have kept talking but that was when Mitsuki's phone rang. It was Katsuki's way of telling her to hurry the fuck up because he wanted to get home. "Alright, so it's settled for tomorrow then. See you tomorrow" she said, heading to her car.
