The movie came to an end and Kimora lifted her body off of Ace's with a small groan. She looked up to see Ace fast asleep. She smiled small and placed a kiss on her forehead causing her to stir in her sleep. Her phone began to ring loudly in the kitchen causing her to groan once again as she stood carefully without waking Ace up.
She walked to the kitchen and grabbed her phone, seeing Lauren's name displayed across the screen, signaling that she was requesting to FaceTime. She answered and immediately took the phone away from her face hearing Lauren yelling on the other end of her phone,
"You out yo fuckin' mind? I think you are! I haven't heard from you in two days nigga!" Lauren yelled. Kimora blankly stared at the camera.
"Calm the fuck down. Ace is asleep." Ki quietly spoke.
"Bitch you think I give a damn about Ace being sleep?! Where the fuck- *CLICK*
Ki hung up the phone and scoffed.
"Out yo' everlasting mind if you think you finna call my phone yelling." she mumbled. "I miss my baby," Ki mumbled referring to Cj.
As soon as she said that her phone began to ring once again. She looked down and saw that Lauren was requesting to FaceTime her once again. She sighed and answered with a slight mug on her face.
"You off that yellin' shit na'?" Ki asked. Lauren rolled her eyes,
"Where you been at Ki?" she repeated but this time calmly.
"I been busy Lo, I'm sorry. But you would not believe what just happened." Ki said as she walked out of the kitchen and up the stairs. Lauren was now intrigued.
"Spill." she said.
Ki shook her head,
"Karti popped up at Ace's house and pulled a gun on her asking for me. Then had the nerve to tell me she was here to escort me to see our father, like bitch what? Fuck I look like jus' goin on a joy ride wit' yo snake ass?" Ki explained. Lauren gasped on the other end of the phone then scrunched her face.
"Wait, wait, Karti?! Ain't it been like 3 years n' she jus' popped up out da' blue? How the hell she even find Ace's house? That's the real question." Lauren exclaimed from the other end of the phone.
