I groaned and rolled over in bed, expecting to feel Ace's body beside mine but I felt nothing. My eyes popped open and I sat up, rubbing the crust from around them then grabbed my phone to check the time, 1:35pm.
"Damn I slept that long?" I muttered to myself.
Then I looked around and saw a folded piece of paper next to a bouquet of roses on the dresser so I stood from the bed with a small smile and walked over. I sniffed roses then grabbed the note.
