Eli's POV
"You still have me. Forever."
"I do?" I ask her, my heart going into overdrive. I pull my head out of her hair, where I had been trying to get as much of her as I can before she'd pull away. "Don't say things you don't mean, ba-Elli." I say, shaking my head.
"You'll always have me, Eli." She says, taking my face into her hands. We just stare into the others eyes.
"Hey Guys! Problems resolved yet?" I hear Brandyns voice. I was wondering where he went. Elli turns around to him and glares, though it's more cute than threatening.
"What the hell, Brandyn!" She whisper-shouts at him, careful of the little girl ears around. He just chuckles, unfazed by her glare. "God! I hate you sometimes!" She says, moving closer to me.
I'm not sure if I should touch her. I don't know if I'm allowed to. I hesitantly place my hands on her waist, giving her time to stop me. She doesn't. Thank fuck! I glide my arms around her and pull her backwards into me. Her back rests against my chest.
I can't help but smile, and I don't try to hide it. I squeeze her tighter. B looks to me and he grins. "That's okay, baby sis. As long as you're happy." He says, returning his gaze back to her. "Take her home, will ya?" He looks back to me, I nod. "You good with that, Ell?" He asks her.
"Yeah." She whispers, sinking closer into me.
"Good. C'mon Lils, you're gonna hang out with your favorite person in the whole world!" He says to Lily, she finally looks up from her tablet.
"Oooh. I get to hang out with Elli?" She asks. I burst out laughing along with Elli. Brandyn frowns at her.
"Just for that, I'm not getting you ice cream." He says, pouting. I know he'll still get her ice cream. That just how it works.
"But we haven't even eaten dinner yet! I'm hungry!" She whines at him as they exit the diner.
"I'll buy you your favorite food and candy so you can be riled up when I give you back to your brother later, how's that sound!" I hear him say before the door closes.
"I love you." I say, holding my breath to hear her say it back to me.
"I love you too." She says turning in my arms. I keep my arms around her, unwilling to let her go. "I don't want to be apart anymore. I hated it, all I could think about is how much I missed you a-and how much it hurt to not be with you." She says to me, shaking her pretty little head.
"You want to be with me again?" I ask, voice hopeful. "Don't say that if you don't mean it, baby." I say, accidentally letting the nickname slip out.
She grabs my face and pulls me down to meet her lips with my own. "I definitely mean it." She says against my mouth. I take her head in my hands and kiss her again. I couldn't get enough of her, not after being apart from her for too long.
My hands try to pull her closer, but her hands push me back. "Not here. Let's eat, then we can make out in your car or something." She says, blushing. God, I couldn't get enough of her blush.
"Okay." I rasp, my whole body on fire.
We take out the menus to decide what we want to eat. I decide on a simple burger and fries and Ell decides on pancakes.
We eat, have small talk, laugh together, it was great spending time with her again. I missed her.
"C'mon, let's go. Brandyn will start to freak out if you're not home before midnight." I say, standing from the booth and holding my hand out for hers. She slips her hand into mine, letting me lead her out of the diner.
