"You mean to tell me that's Caliburn?" Lenard's eyes grew wide. "Fascinating." Blushing, Agatha sheathed the weapon and made her way over to the other royals. She was wary of Penelope's gaze, shining with something as the older queen turned to talk to her husband, Tedros meeting Agatha as she drew nearer.
"What're you doing here?" She asked, looking at her fiancé. "I thought visiting royals weren't supposed to be near the ranges or rings." She continued, never taking her eyes off of the visitors.
"Well, they aren't when they are in use. I didn't know you were here. We asked for you, but your ladies said you weren't in your rooms and Penelope wanted to see the gardens that you've been cultivating. She's quite eager to know you." He narrowed his eyes a little more, as if he was becoming more confused. "Why are you here? Not that you aren't allowed, but I thought you only came here to fight me."
"It's nothing." Agatha said, shaking her head. "Just have a lot on my mind and reading wasn't doing anything for me."
"You can tell me if something's bothering you. If it's what happened in the library-"
"It's nothing, Tedros. Just a lot going on and I'm a little unprepared for the visit." She shook her head once more and walked over to where the other royals were, moving Caliburn to rest against her leg, belt still across her chest.
"Agatha, if I may call you that, my wife was hoping to see the magnificent gardens that are rumored here, cultivated with your Reader mind. I would also like to see them, if you aren't averse to showing us around and joining us for a light after-lunch picnic, perhaps." Lenard said, looking at her when she neared.
"Oh, they aren't magnificent. Most of the plants are just a few from my childhood that were missing here and can be used to make tonics, medicines, and sometimes flavor. They also give the amphibians a better taste of home." She flushed once more, moving away to lead them to her gardens.
"Amphibians?" Lenard looked taken aback, eyes wide as he turned to his wife and said something softer; angering Agatha and forcing her to hold her tongue; something she hated doing, but did for Tedros's sake. Turning, she walked a little quicker, aware of someone following her rapid steps.
"Agatha, are you sure everything's alright?" Tedros asked once more, catching up to her. She rolled her eyes, forcing her feet to move faster than his as she continued, counting her steps before gesturing to the ground where they could sit and chat. Tedros gave her another look, but took the blanket from Penelope and laid it on the ground. The royalty sat on the square and began to talk about topics when it once more came back to how Agatha was and how different she was from the other queens. Unable to do anything else, she turned to her fiancé.
"Fight me." Agatha said, standing up and looking at Tedros, sick of the way she was feeling. Tedros looked taken aback, standing as well and looking at the visiting royals who appeared as shocked as he was by her outburst. Penelope looked sorrowful, almost like she felt she offended Agatha in some sense.
"What?" Tedros looked puzzled, blinking a few times as he watched her stalk over to a clearing that was a good distance from the visitors. "Wait, Agatha, you want to what?"
"Fight." She pulled out Caliburn and looked at him, narrowing her gaze.
"Now?" He asked, still confused.
"Yes, now." Agatha said stalking closer to him and pointing her weapon at him. "Come on and fight me before I go after Chaddick." The brunette Pendragon jumped, looking at her and shaking his head. Tedros turned back to the visiting royals and then looked at Agatha once more. Lenard and Penelope didn't seem to balk at the request, instead turning and watching them; probably aware of their relationship from The Tale of Sophie and Agatha.
