Aurora's POV

I was reading right before it happened.

A guard stormed into my cell, holding a small, silver chest.

"Prisoner 165, get up." He ordered.

Hesitantly, I stood up from my bed and held onto my stuffed bear.

"Up against the wall."

I obeyed him, obviously not wanting to get shocked by his baton.

I suddenly let out a small whimper when I felt something being clasped onto my wrist.

It was a bracelet?

"Follow me."

I walk out of my cell with the guard, only to see every other prisoner being escorted out of their cells.

This is weird...

I eventually got dropped off at a long line of other delinquents. I guess we were going somewhere?

I heard a couple of people whispering and pointing at me. I huffed and rolled my eyes.

I was finally at the front of the line and was now forced to climb a ladder.

I took in my surroundings and noticed many seats with seatbelts and 2 or 3 levels.

Wait a minute...

They're sending us to Earth, aren't they?!

I scoff to myself as I sit beside a tall guard with dark brown curly hair.

At least they're sending a guard with us...

The guard looked at me, and then his face softened. This is probably because I'm the youngest delinquent here.

"How old are you?" He asks

I didn't know if I could trust him since he is a guard, so I decided not to answer him.

I am partially mute and only talk to a select few.

"Why won't you-" the guard was cut off when we were launched. After a few minutes, we hit zero g and entered the atmosphere.

Once I heard no engine hum, I removed my seatbelt and everyone else's.

Luckily, I was closer to the exit, but was quickly pushed back because I was much shorter than everyone else. I heard some people talking, then the door opened.

"WERE BACK BITCHES"

Finally, the crowd of people pushed me outside.

It was beautiful.

I looked up at the sky and breathed in the fresh air.

I even smiled for the first time in ages.

I still had my teddy with me, so I held it close to me as I walked up to a tree.

"Hey."

I turn around to be faced with someone I haven't seen in a while

"Wells, Clarke..." I whisper

I engulf both of them in a hug.

"You've gotten so mature!" Clarke gushed

"And tall!" Wells added

"Hey, I have the map, let's see where we are," Clarke said

We went to the dropship, and Clarke put the map down. She used a ruler and a pencil to find out where we were.

A couple of boys came by, and I hid behind Clarke.

"Oh, you got a map? Where's the closest bar? I can buy you a beer." One of the boys, whom I think is Jasper, flirted.

Wells pushed him away, "Back off."

"Whoa, whoa, he's with me." Murphy scolded Wells. Murphy was definitely memorable during Earth Skills class.

"Relax, we're just trying to figure out where we are," Wells sighed, putting his hands up

"We're on the ground, is that not good enough?" The guard said, joining in

I cling to Clarke's shirt, not wanting to be noticed by them, but it was too late

"Can't believe your dad is so messed up that he locked up a kid." The guard said, looking straight at me.

Great, not everyone's looking at me.

"How old is she anyway?" Murphy asked

"None of your damn business." Wells hissed

"We need to pack our stuff and head to Mount Weather. Not because the chancellor told us to, but because our food is there! It's a 20-mile trek, so let's get moving." Clarke said, changing the subject

"How about you and Wells go get the food? Let the privilege do the hard work for us, right?" the guard said. I'm not sure he's a guard now.

"Look at this, everybody! Chancellor of the Earth!" Murphy scolded, shoving Wells.

"Think this is funny?" Wells asks

Murphy pushed Wells again, and people had to keep Clark and me from intervening.

I didn't like people holding me.

Before a fight could break out, Finn dropped down and scolded Murphy.

__

I was sitting by Wells as Clarke helped his leg.

"When do we leave?"

Clarke got up, "right now."

She turned to Wells and me and said, "We should be back in a day."

"How are the two of you going to carry food for 100 people?" Wells asked

Finn turned around and grabbed Monty and Jasper.

"See? Now 4"

"Make it 5!"

We turn to see the pretty brunette girl from earlier. She and the guard, who I soon found out was actually her brother, argued for a quick minute

Clarke picked up Finn's wrist.

"Were you trying to take this off?" She asked

"Yeah, so?"

"These transmit your vital signs back to the Ark."

"Why should I care?"

"Well, do you want our people to follow us down here in 2 months? Because they won't if they think we're dying."

Clarke turned to me, "I'll be back as soon as I can. Stay with Wells at all times, ok?"

I nod and hug Clarke

"Be safe, Clarke."

"I will."

___

I was trying to sleep in the drop ship when I heard yelling, so I decided to investigate.

I walk out to see a campfire, but as I get close, I notice Wells arguing with Bellamy, and more than half of everyone's wrist bands are in the fire.

Oh my...

Suddenly, I was grabbed and forced to the center with Wells.

"Look, Bellamy the kid still has hers on, let's just take it off," Murphy said

"Let her go now," Wells demands

"Or what?" Murphy taunted

"Let her go, Murphy, she's just a kid," Bellamy said.

I ran into Wells's arms as he picked me up.

Suddenly, it started to rain. I smiled.

"We need to collect the rain."

"Whatever the hell you want," Bellamy rolls his eyes

___

I fell asleep peacefully next to Wells. Little did I know he was forced to take his wristband off in the middle of the night.
