Chapter 29 - Farewell

ZEKIAH XYRIEL'S POV

"Are you serious? Sinabi mo talaga 'yon sa kanya? You definitely had fallen for him!"

Alina couldn't accept that I told Shael my past experience. As for me, wala naman akong nakitang mali ro'n. He insisted but it doesn't mean that I'm forced to tell him. Buo ang desisyon ko nang sabihin ko 'yon sa kanya at nakatulong din siya para gumaan ang pakiramdam ko. It's not that hard for me to face the world now.

Sana lang talaga tama ang desisyon kong 'yon.

"Hindi ko rin alam sa sarili ko kung bakit ko siya pinagkatiwalaan. I just felt like I had to trust him. When he's with me, parang iba siya sa lahat ng lalaki na nakakasalamuha ko. I-I believe on him." I sighed, doesn't know what's happening to myself.

She 'tsk-ed' and shook her head."Mukhang mahirap para sa'yo 'to. Your heart is ready to love again for the second time. Hindi nga lang ako sigurado sa napili mong lalaki."

"It's not me who chose him. Hindi pa naman ako gaanong sigurado. But one thing I knew is...I love the feeling when I'm with him." I can't help but to smile when his pissed reaction flashed on my mind.

"Grabe! Tinamaan ka na nga talaga ni kupido."

On the afternoon, we didn't have a chance to see each other because the finals is coming. Just how fast the night changes. Even though we're apart, he didn't forgot to message me and sent some voicemails for me to be aware what he's doing. I did the same way except for sending him a voicemail. Ayokong magpahalata na masayang masaya ako na kausap siya. Ang laki pa naman ng ulo no'n.

Laking gulat ko na lang nang marinig ang boses niya kahit wala naman ang pi-nlay na vm. Napatakip sa bibig ko nang mapagtantong natawagan ko pala siya. What the effin' hell! How did I end up calling him?! I couldn't even remember that I pressed the...v-video call.

I immediately went outside and good thing we're vacant. I made sure that there's no other student in the corner of the building so I lean my back on the railings. He's also outside their room, also leaning hid back on the railings. Gaya-gaya ba siya sa'kin?!

[Pwede ka namang mag-send ng vm pero mukhang hindi lang boses ko ang namimiss mo. I miss you too]

Nag-flying kiss pa siya sa screen na akala mo kung nasaang labas ng planeta siya. Someone might see him and think that he's crazy.

I rolled my eyes on the screen."It's not my intention, duh! Ni wala nga akong kaalam-alam na napindot ko pala 'yong video call button, eh. Wait...Are you teasing me again?"

[Well, I love teasing you. Just like how I---uhm...Vacant kayo?]

"Zeriel! Parating na si Maam. You should sign the attendance sheet now. Sinong kausap mo?" My classmate Dana, shouted at me.

"I...Uh..M-My Tito. He's just asking if I'm doing good. Susunod na ako." I acted normally.

[Tito, huh? So mukha na akong Tito ngayon? Wow! Congrats self!]

Sinamaan ko naman siya ng tingin sa screen."Mabuti nga at hindi sugar daddy ang sinabi ko. Let's stop this. I gotta go now. See yah!"

He waited me in the parking lot like he usually do. Ngumiti kaagad siya sa'kin nang makita niya ako at siya naman ay hindi makapagbigay ng kahit anong reaksyon dahil maraming nakatingin sa'min. I'm still a model and he's a cassanova in their eyes. No one knows the real score between us but the persons who were closest to us.

Ano nga ba talagang real score namin? We're not yet...uhm..together.

"Don't smile at me like that when there are people around us. Tandaan mo, ayoko munang may makaalam na nanliligaw ka sa'kin," I said while driving my car and talking to him on the loudspeaker.
