ZEKIAH XYRIEL'S POV
"Look who's there! The person who taken for granted his own father.
They were all looking at me with a calm reaction. Like it's just normal for them to see me like this. I don't even know some of them. A sort kind of relatives of this moron. Tsk. What a frick!
"Zeriel, please don't talk to them like that. They are your father's siblings. Gusto rin nila siyang makita," mom explained in a lower voice.
Just keep it! He doesn't need your sympathy and so am I."
"Z-Zeriel...a-anak, intindihin mo---"
"Stop calling me your daughter! It's fucking disgusting! At saka anong intindihin?! Wala akong iintindihin sa anumang sasabihin niyo!" I shouted as loud as I can.
Alina grabbed my hands and put me at her back."Napag-usapan na natin 'to, Zeriel. You will let them see their father, wether you like it or not!
"Yes, we talked about it but it doesn't mean that I agreed. It's not that easy for me to do that, Alina.
"I know how angry you are because of what we did to our father, Zekia---"
"I said stop calling me like that, understand?! Hindi kita kilala kaya bakit kita kakausapin?!" I cut off her words harshly.
We won't take too long.
Alina gestured my goddamn father to enter the room where Lolo was."Get inside now, Tito.
I was about to stop them when Shael put his hand on my waist to pull me closer."Let them talk for a while. C'mon, let's have a coffee to ease your anger.
I didn't talk to him because I might say something he doesn't like. I don't know if he's thinking or what.
He even bought a pizza for our advance dinner because I may not have appetites to eat later. He didn't leave on my side and even make some jokes just to make me laugh. At first he failed but later on, I was used on it. And no matter how corny it is, he still made me smile a bit.
Later on, I forced him to go back to Lolo's room because he might be asking where am I. Besides, I don't really trust those shits in there. And even if they lend me money, I won't accept it. Or maybe I will but I'm going to slap it right on their face to let them remember what they did.
"Hindi ka pa ba uuwi? It's almost 7 PM, Shael. You can go back and rest," I told him.
He shook his head to disagree."I'll accompany you here. I also want him to recover because he promised to be there on my birthday."
Nalukot ang mukha niya habang sinasabi 'yon kaya lihim akong napangiti. Knowing that he cares about Lolo makes my heart flattered. They just met but how he worried about him is like he doesn't want to leave on his side until Lolo's okay. I kinda felt relieved on that.
