Chapter 8 - The Next Door

SHAWN AXCEL'S POV

I groaned when I heard a loud music coming from the other room. Kinuha ko 'yong unan sa tabi ko at tinakip sa tenga ko para hindi marinig 'yong ingay. No matter what I do, I could still hear the sound that made me pissed. Ilang oras lang ang tulog ko dahil pumunta ako dito sa condo ko ng 1:00 kaya nasa mga apat na oras lang akong nakatulog. Tapos dadagdag pa 'tong lintik na ingay sa kabilang kwarto. Argh.

I badly want to go to sleep but how could I if the sounds from the other room was getting louder and louder. Pota. Hindi ba niya alam na may natutulog pa ng ganitong oras?! It's fucking Saturday and I want to rest myself for the whole day. I have to do some stuffs later so I need to get some energy. Kaasar naman oh!

"Pwede ho bang pakihinaan ng konti yang pinapatugtog niyo? Natutulog pa ho kase ako eh!" I shouted at the room in front of mine.

Tang'na. Ni hindi ko nga mabukas ng maayos ang mga mata ko dahil sa antok.

Kanina pa ako katok ng katok dito pero wala paring bumubukas."May kalapit din ho kayong kwarto dito ka---"

"What the hell?!" The door suddenly opened and it revealed Zeriel. We're both shocked when we saw each other but her reaction immediately faded."What?! Why are you here? Pati ba naman ngayon iinisin mo'ko?! It's too early in the morning to see your disgusting face. Ugh," she added and put her palm on her forehead.

My brows frowned and surveyed her body. She's wearing a sports bra and a leggings with a pair of white shoes. Is she doing some exercise or zumba?!

"What the fuck?!" Napamura ako ng wala sa oras ng bigla niya 'kong sinampal."What's your problem, huh?! You're always hurting me everytime we met." Hinimas himas ko ang pisnge kong sa tingin ko ay namumula na.

She raised her eyebrow on me."You pervert jerk! Why are you looking at my body?! Manyak ka talaga eh, 'no?!" Niyakap niya pa ang sarili niya at sinamaan ako ng tingin.

"Hindi ah. Napatingin lang saglit tapos manyak agad, tsk. I'm not even fantasizing you." I looked away to pretend that I wasn't really interested on her body.

"Ano ba kase ginagawa mo dito, ha?! You're disturbing my gym session!" singhal niya sa'kin habang nakataas baba ang kilay.

I smirked before answering her."Ginulo mo lang naman ang tulog ko dahil dyan sa malakas na pinapatugtog mo. Aren't you aware of the people who were occupying the rooms next to you?! Ang aga-aga pa tapos nagpapatugtog ka pa ng malakas. Can't you exercise without a music?!" I sarcastically said.

"So what?! It's up to me if I want to play a music while doing my routine. Ano bang pakialam mo?! Araw-araw ko naman 'tong ginagawa at wala namang nagrereklamo, ikaw pa lang," She crossed her arms on her chest.

I didn't even know that she has a condo here. Hindi rin naman ako masyadong umuuwi rito dahil palagi akong nasa mansion. Sometimes, I'm staying on my friend's house whenever we're going to celebrate something.

"Okay, ganito na lang. If you don't want to stop your music, just minimize it's volume. I'm half-asleep and I'm also tired right now," I messed up my hair and closed my eyes a little bit because of sleepiness.

"Whatever," she rolled her eyes and closed the door.

I felt relieved when she did what I said that's why I came back to sleep immediately. Nagising nalang ako dahil sa malakas na tunog ng phone ko at nalaman kong may tumatawag pala. My eyes widened when I saw kuya Daron's name on it. My phone even slipped on my hands and it was about to fall in the floor. Halos mapamura ako nang paulit-ulit ng bigla kong napindot yung end button kaya nataranta ako.

"Shit. Lagot ako kay kuya neto," I whispered while waiting for another call.

[Why didn't you answer my calls, Shael?! You don't know what time is it?]
