Chapter 17: Neon Pillar

Third P.O.V

After the battle of lower moon 4, Kyojuro rushed (Y/N) to the butterfly mansion and Kanae and Shinobu went to treat all her wounds from her battle. Once they finish treating her wounds, they let her rest because (Y/N) was extremely exhausted.

~Timeskip one week later~

It's been one week and (Y/N) still hasn't woke up from her sleep, her battle must have her use a lot of stamina, after all she did battle a demon that was part of the twelve demon moons and the aftermath can make you extremely exhausted since the blood demon art is powerful.

~The next day~

(Y/N) P.O.V

"Ugh, my body hurts so bad, what happened?"

I opened my eyes and look at the surroundings and notice that I'm in the butterfly estate, I tried to sit up but I winced from the feeling. I noticed that my collarbone as well as my abdomen was bandaged, and they were a bit bloody. Now I remember, I was battling Lower moon 4 and her sash cut my collarbone and abdomen. I tried to sit up again and successfully I did, I just sat at the bed and just waited for someone to come inside the room.

After like a few minutes of sitting in the bed I heard the door open, I look to see who it was and it's Shinobu.

"Oh, your awake, that's a relief. Wait here for a moment I'll just call nee-san then we can start your daily check-up." She said and went to look for Kanae-san.

When Kanae-san and Shinobu-san came back to my room they started doing my daily check-up and they changed my bandages.

~Timeskip (Sorry im lazy) ~

It's been two weeks since I been staying and recovering in the butterfly estate, Kanae-san told me in my previous check-up that I also have 3 broken ribs but it's recovering slowly. My abdomen and collarbone still haven't fully recovered but I can walk around the estate now since it doesn't that much.

I was sitting at the engawa's of the butterfly estate and was just looking at the sky since I have nothing to do right now. I was enjoying my peaceful moments until my Kasugai crow came to deliver a message for me. It landed on the engawa floor, and it told me something.

"Caw! You must go to the headquarters! There will be a meeting held along with the hashira's and you are required to join! Caw!" My Kasugai crow said, and I just nodded at him.

I stood up from the engawa and went back to my room so I can change back to my uniform. Once I arrived at my room, I look for my uniform, but it wasn't there, so I came to look for Kanae-san or Shinobu-san to ask if they have my uniform. I saw Shinobu-san and I went to her.

"Excuse me Shinobu-san, have you seen my uniform? I can't find it in my room."

"Your old uniform was damaged from your previous battle, so nee-san requested to make you a new uniform. I'll go get it, be right back." Shinobu-san said and went to get my new uniform. When Shinobu-san got back, she was holding my new uniform I looked at it and it was definitely new, my uniform wasn't a skirt instead my uniform was similar to Shinobu-san.

"If your wondering why your uniform are pants instead of a skirt, I threatened Maeda to change your uniform into the original one, she actually made you a week ago, it was the same from your last uniform but it was a bit revealing so I burned it Infront of her and told her to make you another one, just like mine." Shinobu-san said and I sweat dropped at her story.

"I-I see, well thank you Shinobu-san, I actually hated my previous uniform." I said

"Don't mention it, now get changed you are needed at the headquarters for the meeting." Shinobu-san said and I went back to my room to get changed.

After I changed to my uniform, I put on my haori and sheathed my katana and went to Father's meeting.

~Mini Timeskip~

After I arrived at the headquarters, I saw all the hashira and they were just chatting. I saw Kanae-san chatting with Kanroji-san.

"Kanae-san!" I called her name

"(Y/N)-san, Hi!" Kanae-san waved at me and mentioned me to join her and Kanroji-san chatting, then we chat for a bit.

"Oyakata-sama has arrived." I heard my sister announcement and all of us kneeled in the headquarters garden.

"So good for you all to come, my beloved children. Good morning, everyone, the weather is wonderful today, I wonder if the sky is blue. It pleased me that all of you are present for today's hashira meeting." Father said with a calm voice.

"I am pleased to see you in good health master, I pray for your continued good fortune." Kanae-san said.

"Thank you Kanae-san, now before we start our hashira meeting I would like to announce that we will be having a new hashira, and that hashira will be my daughter, (Y/N)." Father said and I was shocked at what his said.

"(Y/N), you defeated a demon that is part of the twelve demon moons. I ask you; would you like to be a hashira?"

"A hashira? Am I fit for that position, should I accept father's offer?"

"I-I a-accept yo-your offer fa-father." I said while stuttering.

"Damn it, why did I stutter!"

"I see, that makes me happy (Y/N). From now on you're the neon hashira. I'm so proud of you (Y/N) you did so well." Father said and smiled at him. I couldn't help but blushed because he praised me, infront of the other hashira, I get shy when someone praise me. I covered my face with both of my hands to hide my blushing my face.

"Are you alright (Y/N)-san? Your face was red a while ago." Kanae-san asked

"I-I am per-perfectly fi-fine Ka-kan-Kanae-san."

"Damn it! I stuttered again!"

I heard father giggled a bit along with the other hashira and it made me more embarrassed right now.

"Now now (Y/N), stay calm, you don't have to be so embarrassed." Father said and it made me calm down.

"Ri-right, my apologize father." I said.

"Its alright (Y/N), now shall we begin our hashira meeting." Father said and our meeting begin.

~Timeskip~

Once the meeting was over we stayed in the headquarters garden for a bit and all of the other hashira's congratulate me from being the new hashira and they showered me with praises. With all those praises they are giving me, I couldn't help and get shy again, I covered my face again to hide my blushing face.

"Kyaaaa! Your so cute (Y/N)-sama!" I heard Kanroji-san and she suddenly hug me.

"U-um, thank you for congratulating me, I didn't expect to be a hashira despite being weak." I said, still in Kanroji-san's arms.

"Nonsense (Y/N)-sama! You are not weak! With a lot of trainings, you will become more stronger! Hahahahaha!" Rengoku-san said.

"I agree with Rengoku, with a lot of training you will flamboyantly be strong and powerful (Y/N)-sama." Uzui-san said

"That's right (Y/N)-san" Kanae-san said.

Then all the hashira still continue praising me.

"This is getting embarrassing with all the praises. When will this end, I just want to dig a hole and hide in there."
