Tendō
Tendō spent the rest of the party focusing on y/n's bizarre mannerisms. She'd always been stand offish, never indulging herself fully in the company of others, a true introvert who wanted little to do with other people. It contrasted his own mannerisms, whilst his relationship with others was less than perfect Tendō adored spending time surrounded by people of all types.
He'd watched her slink through the crowd back in the direction of the bedrooms Semi had sectioned off so that only a few people could enter. Eyes diligently tracking her every movement. Whether she was serious about his offer was up for debate and although he was slightly intoxicated he could still think clearly enough, to know that something was wrong.
Sighing he shook his head reaching for the glass of whiskey that Ushijima had held out for him. "What's on your mind Wakatoshi-kun?" Tendō asked flexing his fingers around the cool crystal glass. "I am simply enjoying a party. That is all Satori." Tendō nodded glad to be back in the company of his best friend, "how does it feel to be a professional volleyball player?" Tendō raised his eyebrows looking at his best friend, who seemed to be inspecting his glass. "It's good, I think it makes my father proud. I like my teammates."
"Ahh but none are as good as me right?" Ushijima offered him a soft smile, "of course not Satori, nothing is as good as playing with your best friend." Tendō laughed throwing his head back at the statement. "You know, I might just have to play with you again sometime, if you're this distraught about me leaving." Ushijima smiled again leaning back next to Tendō, "I would like that Satori."
Tendō nodded allowing the weight of Ushijima's words to settle in. Volleyball had forever been his safe space, it was the only place he'd felt valued and respected growing up. Sure it wasn't without its faults, but it was a fuck of a lot better than the rest of his childhood.
"You know, I miss it," Tendō said swirling his drink slightly, "miss it?" Ushijima questioned the meaning of his words. "I miss volleyball, the security it gave me. We should get everyone together again for a friendly game." Ushijima nodded willing to do anything for his best friend. "I would be happy to organise that for you." Tendō smiled at his words, "thank you Wakatoshi-kun."
Tendō respected and valued Ushijima's word above most peoples, he had been the only one to ever live up to it every single time. So he was beyond elated that Ushijima was willing to put some of his like aside to indulge a childish dream of Tendō's.
"Tendō there you are!" Semi yelled waving his hands at the tall man, Tendō turned his gaze on the ash-blonde seeing his rosy cheeks, and spotting a rather annoyed Shirabu next to him, walking over Tendō clasped Semi's shoulder in his large hands.
"Ahh Semi-Semi come dance give Salty-Shira a break!" Tendō laughed dragging his friend into the midst of the dance floor. He grinned as the people around him and Semi allowed them to fall into the rhythm of their bodies. The music floated through the air and he remained happy as hours ticked by. As he danced he couldn't shake the image of y/n's ever present frown from his mind, the way her pupils would widen slightly whenever she became intrigued by a conversation. Gods she was perfect to him.

Tendō wandered through the guest hall arm in arm with Semi, both of them were far past drunk Shirabu trailed after them if for no other reason than to ensure they didn't break anything. People had started leaving in dribs and drabs about an hour ago and eventually Shirabu was able to kick out everyone with the help of Ushijima.
"Tendō here, you can sleep in this room tonight." Shirabu shoved the lanky red head into a random room without paying much attention, grabbing his boyfriend he dragged him back to their shared bedroom.
Grumbling about Shirabu's manners Tendō noticed the lack of his own belongings in the room, assuming that Semi had put them somewhere else. Allowing his eyes to travel around the room he noticed the thrown around contents of a few things, it must have been a room Semi neglected to clean.
"Honestly you're hopeless Semi-Semi."Tendō blinked allowing for his eyes to slowly adjust to the dim room. He stripped off his socks and shirt yawning as he wandered into the ensuite which was the only source of light. Splashing warm water on his face he paid little attention to the contents of the ensuite, and the room in general, dimming the lights in the ensuite he ungracefully found his way over to the bed. Mumbling his way into sleep.
The restful sounds of Tokyo bustling around outside covered any other noises from the room or just outside.
