Y/n awoke hearing her alarm blasting, as she'd neglected to turn it off the night before. Groaning she stared out the floor to ceiling window admiring Tokyo in the early morning light.
Rustling in the sheets behind her brought her senses to a heightened awareness. She couldn't remember bringing anyone to bed the night before, and she wasn't drunk enough for it to have easily been forgotten.

Carefully glancing over her shoulder bright red hair caught her attention. Her breathing stilled as shock settled into her body.
Had she slept with Tendō Satori?

She shot hurried glances around the room searching her memory for any sign that they'd slept together. Her hands started to shake as she sat up, covering her quivering lips and muffling her fear.
Why couldn't she remember anything?

Tendō heard the alarm blasting, but he hadn't brought his phone to bed last night, so why could he hear an alarm?

Slowly bringing himself to awareness he heard a gasp and rasping breathing. Sitting up he locked eyes with a frightened a disheveled y/n.
It took a moment before he realised what ideas must be rushing through her mind. Careful not to cross any boundaries or make her feel uncomfortable, he didn't move but simply cleared his throat.

"Y/n, it's fine." His voice was laced with sleep and he scrunched up the sheets in front of him to restrain from reaching out for her.

She shook her head, he wasn't sure if it was disbelief or fear, maybe even disgust. Culling his crippling self hatred and doubt he sighed. He couldn't remember much from the night before. But he would've remembered if he'd slept with the one girl he'd always loved.

"We, you, I, nothing happened. You went to bed early into the party. I stayed up late and Shirabu shoved me into a. Random room last night.
I was so tired I didn't really pay much attention to anything. I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you." He lifted his hand up in an act of innocence before dropping it palm up halfway between them.

"I never want to hurt or scare you. I never want you to fear me." His voice was sincere and the sadness in his eyes wasn't fake.

Still, she watched him warily memories of what Kamasaki had expected of her rushing into her mind, but she'd remembered at least snippets of those experiences.

Looking at Tendō she didn't feel the same way she had after suffering at Kamasaki's hand. Seeing the look in his eyes she knew he was sincere, knew that the way he treated her would never divulge into that abuse.

Breathing out a shaky breath she dropped her hand fingertips brushing lightly with his. The pulse of electricity that shot up her arm at his touch confusing her.

"I'm sorry," she began looking at him through lowered lashes. "Just surprise, and maybe a little bit of fear. But I believe you Tendō. I trust you." She whispered the last part not sure if he'd hear her but hoping above all else that he would.
He nodded acknowledging he lack of desire for physical touch.

"I hope I didn't snore." She mumbled scratching the back of her neck as a nervous habit, he eyed her that familiar sparkle she'd only ever found in his eyes bring her so much comfort.

"Oh you were dreadful, I couldn't sleep a wink." He teased jokingly, just to annoy her.

"You look well rested to me dumbass." She said standing up from the bed and walking over to look out the window.

Tendō stared at her back, admiration and childish joy painted so obviously on his features it hurt. The warm sun glinted through the window, lighting the bedroom in such a peaceful manner.
The white linen of the bedspread was rumpled slightly from their night of rest, Tendō's usual spikes red hair, flopped down messily across his forehead.
