The Note~

Barley and Y/n have always been rather close ever since Ian introduced you two. You loved the way he talked, walked, dressed, everything. You've always admired his knowledge, strength and will power to do anything. To be completely honest, ever since you met Barley you've had a huge crush on him. His beautiful crystal blue eyes were always a pleasure to look at, you could just get lost in his eyes. You fell hard and quick for this man, you didn't mean to but still to this day you try and hide it from him. You don't know if he'll reject your confession and if he does, that would just make hanging out with him and Ian super awkward. Maybe just maybe, he'll feel the same way about you but for some terrifying reason you don't think that will happen, the only thing you can do is hope.

[Time skip]

As Barley rumaged through his piles and piles of books and games looking for his Quest of Yore game you sat on the end of his bed just watching him throw books and random game pieces left and right trying to find his precious game.
"Barley why don't we play something else just for today, we can play Quest of Yore someother time" You said casually.
"No no, I can find it just give a second, I'll have a look in Ian's room, ok I'll be back in second" and with that Barley ran up the stairs. You stayed seated looking around his room when out the corner of your eye you see a yellow sticky note on his desk. You were interested so you got up and walked over to the note and what you read was not expected one bit. 'Her soft y/e/c eyes are even more enchanting then any love potion or spell <3 I think i like y/n and i need to tell her soon'. When you read those words your heart melted and you could feel yourself blushing something chronic. You heard Barley coming back down the stairs, you freaked out and ran to his bed and quickly sat back down anxiously waiting for Barley, hopefully he doesn't notice you read the note.
"Ok I'm back, you didn't touch anything did you?" Barley asked concerned, "What, uhh nope haha" you have never been more nervous before. You were sweating, stuttering, and blushing worst then before and Barley knew something was up.
"Y/n, you alright you look super pale, do you need some water?" he asked walking to you and kneeling down infront of you, this indeed did not help your blushing. "No need, I'm perfectly fine, promise", but it was obvious you were lying. Barley put his hand to your forehead to check your temperature but you couldn't bare to look him in the eye so you look over at the note, but he takes notice of this and looks behind at the yellow note then starts uncontrollably blushing a deep blue and to your surprise he turned to you and smiled childishly.
"So..., you read it huh?" he asked looking you in the eyes.
"Uh yeah, I did and it was super sweet Barley, because no one has ever said something so nice t-" he interrupted your speech with the sweetest kiss ever and once you parted, Barley smiled once again and so did you.
"So you wanna play Quest of Yore now?" he asked with the cutest puppy eyes.
"I don't see why not" you said with the biggest smile on your face.
