𝑨 couple of days had gone by since they've moved in, they've mostly been decorating and placing stuff around the house. Mostly just the essential things. Couches, rugs, dining table, chairs, etc. although it still looked boring and bland considering they haven't really had time to go shopping for much decoration. Even though they did bring most of the decor from their old house, but considering there house is now like 10 times bigger compared to their old house, so they need to get more shit to decorate.

So far in Effy's room she had a bed, nightstand and desk and most of the other regular things a room would need. Now she just needed to give her room decor. For the time being she'd just placed her record player on the side of her window and other records and vinyls stacked next to it, along with some of her favorite posters and small random objects. all in a sort of cabinet. Since music was most important to her.

As well as some of her favorite books and current reads stacked onto each other on top of her nightstand, creating a pile of books on top of the nightstand, and record player and records scattered next to her open window along with her guitar.

Tomorrow would be her first day at her new miserably shity school. She hadn't gone to school just yet, although they moved into the house about a week ago. Effy hadn't started school just yet, they thought that starting school right after moving would be too overwhelming for her, plus they would both get the boxes and couches from the moving trucks out faster and hopefully finish quicker.

Alarm going off. The loud, agonizing, high pitched buzzing vibration sound almost drawing blood to her ears. The irritating alarm unfortunately didn't just annoy her but also reminded her that today would be her first day at the shit hole of Hackensacks middle school. She groaned and sluggishly reached out her hand from under her pillow, which she was laying her head on and slapped the top of the rectangular shaped alarm clock off. Thankfully making it shut the fuck up.

Not wanting to get up, but unfortunately she had to. So she drowsily got up and sat up and leaned against her headboard staring outside her window for a couple of minutes, re thinking every moment that let up to this moment. Sitting on her mattress staring off into the distance of her tinted window that had black sheer curtains dripping over it, letting the slightest bit of sunlight slip into the morning dawn aroma that filled room.

After contemplating her entire existence and life decisions and as to why she's still alive and breathing. She finally got up onto her feet and walked towards the connected bathroom in her room.

Groggily picking up her toothbrush and applying toothpaste on it and rinsing it with the sink water, brushing her teeth after then fixing her hair. And doing all the other regular things you do in the morning to get ready.

Once she was finally ready, it was still pretty early and she still had time to kill before she left since it was only 7:42. So she walked towards her window next to her record player and other records, she grabbed her electric guitar that was leaning on the wall besides the window, and started playing a bit.

Unfortunately soon interrupted by her mother yelling her name "Effy!" She yelled earning an eye roll from her daughter. "I'm going!" Effy yelled back getting up from the floor and placing the guitar back in it's place while grabbing her school messenger bag from next to her bed and unplugging her phone from the charging cord then slipping it into her pocket.

She slung it around her arm and jogged down the stairs and into the kitchen where her mom was placing a table cover over the table, smoothing it out. "What?" Effy asked "You should start walking so you make it on time to catch the bus." She said running her hand over the fabric of the table again. "Why can't you just dive me?" Effy said slumping her shoulders dramatically "Because if I do I won't have enough time to open the rest of the boxes in the garage since i'll be looking for job applications all day." "Fine." Effy said "Now hurry up if not your gonna miss the bus."
