𝑫im arrays of sunlight illuminated Effy's room. Herself on her bed laying asleep, unknowingly alongside her was Junior, also asleep next to her. His arms snaked around her waist pulling her closer to him, his head resting in the crook of her neck. Subconsciously nuzzling himself next to her while bringing himself closer to her with her hands lazily wrapped round him.

Both half asleep under the sheets that covering them, bits of sunlight peaking threw her smaller window aside her bed, the plantation window shutters that wear slightly covered by the black curtains that wrapped over them.

Both laid in the full sized dark drown frame bed, with dark green sheets under the black duvet that wrapped both of them in a layer of warmness as well as each other's body warmth which gave an extra layer of warmth.

Is where her mind wistfully wandered as Junior cupped her face and kissed her outside, in front of the school auditorium.

She quickly snapped herself out of the daydream she was having, disgusted by herself. She pushed him off pulling away from the kiss.

Even though the slightest, tiniest, smallest sliver of her wanted to kiss him back, she didn't.

She didn't because she knew that the only reason he kissed her was because of his emotions towards Lexy, to get maybe revenge on her or to get back on her. She didn't really know. And she didn't really care either.

He was definitely caught off guard by her pushing him away. He did truly enjoy their kiss, even though he knows he kissed her for all the wrong reasons. But he didn't regret it, not one bit.

She pulled away in confusion, anger, overwhelmed, disappointment and disgust all mixed together. "What the fuck Junior!?" She asked in disbelief. She looked at him and saw he himself was still processing what just happened so she just walked away before he could form a sentence. As she was walking away in confusion she turned around and flipped him off.

She walked back inside the school, trying to look for Jake still processing what happened. She eventually found him in the principal office, as well as overheard Jake and the principal talking.

"You broke many rules Jake, you publicly humiliated your classmate and many others and stole a students phone, Jake. I have no other option but to suspend you." Said the principal sitting on her rolling chair. "You disobeyed the rules Jake, I have no other option but to suspend you." She continued. "But I didn't do it, I did nothing." Jake responded "Then who did it? Huh, the doll?" The principal taunted "No, no but- ." Jake tried to say to try and defending himself. "That's enough Jake, I'm not having this conversation with you."

He walked out of the office defeated, finding Effy leaning on the wall next to the door. Who was most definitely eavesdropping. "Why the fuck are you suspended? She was finally put in her place. And plus she deserved it!" The girl said protesting

"I didn't do it" Jake said signing

"I know." Effy said

"How?" He asked confused on how she believed him. "Because you said you didn't." She said with a slight smile.

The both walked out of the school both utterly done with the whole situation. They picked up the bike from outside the school, Jake carrying it by the handle while walking with Effy. Both just needing to walk to try to process everything that had happened.

They conversed about what might've happened and theoretical ideas, eventually both just trying to clear each other's mind by making jokes and laughing together. Sharing an airpod playing music, trying to clam each other down.
