"Y/N!" Tubbo yelled from across the snowy plains, which made her look up to greet the boy.
He ran down the steps from the patio faster than ever, jumping down from the last step
"Tubs!" She smiled brightly, hugging the boy tightly. "How are you? I haven't seen you in forever."
"We saw each other last week," He laughed. "It hasn't been that long, idiot."
"You know what I mean. I normally see you every day-"
"You mean once a week at most?" Tubbo corrected.
"Yeah. That's what I meant- um. Is everyone inside?" She changed the topic swiftly. They both started walking to the front door.
"Mhm," He said. "Where's Karl?"
"What?" She asked nervously. "Why are you so interested in where Karl is?"
"Oh- since you always bring him here." Tubbo climbed the stairs to the patio, Y/N a couple of steps behind. "It's just weird that he isn't right next to you."
"He is busy," Y/N said. "With other things-"
"Really?" Tubbo asked, turning to face her. "With what?-"
"Y/N! Hey, how are you?" Tommy came out the door as soon as she got off the last step.
"I'm okay," She smiled,
"Where's Karl?" He asked, looking behind her like he would appear out of thin air.
"Oh my god." She huffed. Y/N isn't always with him. Why do they expect him to be there?
"She said he was busy," Tubbo shrugged.
"But he's always around you?" Tommy questioned.
"That's what I said-" Tubbo added.
"Alright. I get it, he just can't today, okay?" She spoke quickly, and they both nodded in return.
"The little bitch is here." Tommy scowled.
"You mean Fundy right?" Y/N was not impressed. He nodded.
"Philza is being so weird around him- like he had never seen a child before." Said Tommy, walking back into the house while the others trailed behind. "Dad! Y/N is here-"
"Hey," Techno said, his hands occupied with little blocks for the child by the fireplace. "long time no see." Tommy and Tubbo left the three alone.
"It's been a week." Y/N muttered with a smile, "Hello Fundy," She crouched down next to the small boy.
"Hi!" The child spoke back with the biggest smile. "Uncle Techno said that you can teach me how to- uh... What was it again?"
Techno leant and whispered something in his ear.
"Oh yeah! How to shoot those arrows from the bow," Fundy continued, "Please?"
"I think you are a bit too young for that," Y/N stressed, Fundy frowned.
"All you need is permission from your Dad, kid." Techno continued, Fundy smiled once again. "Go and do that thing I showed you, the one that works every time?"
"Okay!" Fundy ran to the kitchen calling for his Dad, doing whatever Techno just told him to do obediently.
"I am not teaching a five-year-old how to shoot a bow." Y/N was stern. "I don't care what permission he has."
"Come on, It can just be those plastic ones. Not an actual bow, dimwit." Techno playfully punched her arm. "Plus it keeps him busy and not bothering Phil."
"And why can't he bother Phil?" She asked.
"He's being weird." Techno said, "And just busy in general. Well, busier than normal."
"That's just Phil, he's always busy." Y/N shrugged, "It's not like that's anything different."
"Why are you here anyway?" He continued,
"Thanks." She replied sarcastically,
"Not like that." He reassured, "It's just-"
"Techno!" Wilbur yelled, "What the fuck is wrong with you?" Fundy tried into the room.
"Everything." He replied.
"Why would I let my child shoot a bow?" Wilbur ignored him. "He is five."
"He's been interested in it- and Y/N said she would," Techno responded.
"I did not-"
"Hey Y/N when did you get here?" Wilbur asked, completely different from when he talked to his brother.
"Like 3 minutes ago-" She replied with confusion.
"Please daddy? I won't hurt anyone-" Fundy pleaded, getting the conversation back to him.
"Look at his face," Techno pouted. "How can you say no to that?"
"I can say no to it because I don't want him shooting someone- or something," Wilbur argued, looking down to his son.
"It will be good for him- right Y/N?" Techno involved her. She shook her head,
"I am not- I'm leaving. Where is Phil?" Y/N brushed over it.
"In the kitchen." Wilbur shook his head while Y/N got up. "Sorry Kid, I'm not letting you do that. You are five-"
"Nearly six," Fundy responded.
"That doesn't make it any better." The father responded while she left the room.
She walked down the corridor, going to the kitchen where Tommy, Tubbo and Phil were all sitting at the dining table. "Hey N/N," Phil smiled, she smiled back.
"Hi Phil, are you okay?" She asked, sitting down on one of the chairs.
"Of course I am." He responded indifferently.

Y/N sat at the desk in Dream's office once she got home. In the hope to finish the drawing she started yesterday. Getting comfortable in the chair and picking up the pencil.
The smile was still on her face from yesterday and the engagement, looking at her ring placed delicately on her finger before focusing more on the desk.
She noticed the petal laying on the wooden desk, eyeing it with intrigue. The Bittersweet only had 7 petals now, from the recent 10.
3 has dropped away now, maybe this was normal? Since Y/N never really researched this flower. Kept it in the back of her mind and gave more priority to her favourites.
With a simple hum, the confusion pushed its way to the back of her brain. And she forced herself to work on the drawing in front of her.
What a lovely flower.
She needs a break. Needs to leave Manberg and the house in the snow for only one night.
Plus, what's better than going to Princess Hannah's ball?
