How could he know? How could he possibly know? He must be mistaken. Nobody even knows about my existence. My parents have kept my identity a secret for ages. It's impossible.

My whole body grew cold and numb in an instant as soon as I heard Swann come out of his mouth.

He was standing up to face me now, looking down at me as if all scum of the Earth was compressed into my being. It was as if Satan himself had come to collect me.

I didn't realize he'd be so tall, but it's nothing I couldn't handle.

I brought myself up to his level and tilted my chin up at him, keeping my composure. I painstakingly scanned his face slowly on purpose, from his stormy eyes to his lips and back at his eyes again - just to see if I had any effect on him.

His pupils dilated by the tiniest bit, but he kept his hard expression.

Well, well. That's all I needed to know.

"I'm afraid you're mistaken. That's La'Claire to you." I said in a low, bitter tone, holding his cold fixated gaze with my harsh eyes.

"Tsk tsk. Oh darling, it appears as if you've been fighting your demons, and they all look like me," he said with a devilish smile.

I noticed the bag above where he was sitting slightly move an inch to the right. Harry.

"Wrong. It's the other way around, Malfoy. If I were you, I would be careful with my words the next time you spoke to me," I asserted with a threatening voice.

I swiftly turned around, leaving my words hanging in the dead air, and unlocked the door stepping into the brisk night, grabbing my briefcase beforehand.

My soft footsteps pressed against the lush dew-covered grass. There was a slight chill to the air and I could smell the piney woods of the evergreens as I walked past them. The fog thickened a bit after I got off the train. I looked up towards the black sky and saw subtle grey clouds languidly moving as a gentle breeze pushed them.

My sharp eyebrows pulled together anxiously as I made my way to the castle. Partly because I missed the carriages and partly because I couldn't think straight. My thoughts were scattered everywhere trying to piece together different scenarios and perspectives as to how Draco Malfoy could've ever found out about who I really am.

I couldn't think of anything.

After my parents removed themselves from the rest of the death eaters, they surely got backlash from the other members. Knowing that they were royalty, almost everyone had an edge against them, although no one acted on it while they still participated. Until they left, many attempted to trace their location and find out where they ran off to, but the Swann's covered their tracks well and settled in a quiet, off-the-grid estate in Italy.

Years after years have passed and still no death eaters managed to find them.

So how could Malfoy know?

I felt a drop of cold water fall on my cheek. And then another. It slowly began to drizzle, but not too much.

Before I could take another step, I heard some pine needles rustle about 15 feet behind me. There was a gentle wind, but it wasn't that strong.
