I've been laughing for what feels like centuries and Matteo is just sitting there with a frown on his face.

He's actually wearing the mittens. I cannot breathe.

"Stop laughing at me, it's not funny," He crosses his arms over his chest like a little boy.

Oh my god I cannot do this.

I'm snorting like a pig and my stomach hurts from laughing.

"Alright it seems you aren't going to stop bullying me so," He furries his eyebrows and smirks.

Suddenly he jumps on top me and starts tickling the hell out of me.

"Stop, MATTEO!" I shriek in laughter.

He obliged and lifted himself off me, laughing like a mad man.

Which is what he is.

I cant help but crave his touch again, it causes me to feel all fuzzy inside.

Lord save me.

My hair is a mess and my dress is all ruffled, "Look what you did to my hair," I pout furring my eyebrows.

"Here, I'll fix it, your majesty." he leapt over and patted my hair softly, leaving tingles everywhere on my head.

he fixes it perfectly and I'm in utter shock. Mans knows her his hair over here.

"Thanks your highness," I mumble with a grin visible on my face and open the picnic basket and take out the food Violet packed for us.

I grab two apples, pass one to Matteo and he catches it cleanly, quickly taking a huge bite out of it and I keep one to myself. I take a bite and look ahead at the beautiful mountains in front of us.

"So, are you looking forward to taking the throne in the coming future?" Matteo asks me so willingly.

Hm, am I? that's the true question.

The question I don't even know the answer to.

"I don't know," I swirl my apple in my hand, trying to concentrate on the question. "I think a part of me is but I haven't been able to find that part for a long time, you know?"

Why am I opening up to him? I don't trust him.

Who's there to humiliate me, anyways.

He doesn't reply but merely just looks ahead with me, I did ask a rhetorical question to be honest.

"Life truly is atrocious," He fixes the cuff of his coat and takes another slow bite of his apple, the crunch bellowing through the air.

"Tell me about your cool tattoos, Matteo." Why did I say that? It just sort of came out.

"And why should I do that?" He side eyes me quickly and then smirks.

Oooh okay.

"Because I'm going to be married to you very soon and I should know my husband, inside and out," I say the last three words seductively because he's a fine man and he's my fiancé so why not?

He looks shocked for a minute but covers it sweetly, once again.

"Inside and out," He repeats my words elegantly, luring me in.

"How marvellous, I simply cannot wait," He smiles to himself but shows me a smirk. I can see beneath it though.

Smart cookie, right here.

"Well this one," he takes off the mitten on his right hand to show me the tattoo he has on his pointer finger, an omega symbol. It's gorgeous, "I thought looked nice so I got it," he chuckled.
