26. Demon. God. Yandere. what else?

PREVIOUSLY:

A spooky dark portal suddenly opened behind kaida, completely sucking her into the portal.

"KAIDA!!!-"
Team 7 tried to reach their hand out and hold on to me, but alas,

they were too slow.

".... Where..?" Kaida asked to no one in particular as she observed her current surroundings,

Every inch of the place were all white and seemingly to be....endless.

Awfully familliar.

Kaida widened her eyed in realization,
Finally remembering this place she was suddenly sucked into in the middle of her first ranked C mission.

"Kamisa....Kamisa-san? Kamisa-san! Are you here?" Kaida questioned, her voice ringing inside the place,
Hoping for the certain God she haven't met for so long to appear somewhere,

The God that gave her a second life to have another chance experiencing normal feelings and happiness.
The one that gifted her the warm home she has right now.

But after moments of waiting, not a single trace of a God could be seen.

Kaida's shoulders slumped down in dissapointment, she was really hoping to see Kamisa as it had been so long after their first and last meeting.

But it wasn't long until the whole place or we may call it the void shifted into another scenery, causing Kaida to jump in surprise.

The unknown floor kaida was stepping on turned into a dark lake with red tints, looking like there would be creatures that would come out of it any minute,

She focused chakra on her feet, to ensure that she wouldn't fall below the unknown lake, and enhancing her sight to see everything around.

After adjusting, She once again took in her surroundings,

A creepy lake with dim lanterns floating on the surface,

Skeletons rowing two worn out boats circling the large lake within the fogs,

Gray skies,

Faint instruments playing, especially drums,

Creepy murmurs mixing in with the sounds,

Headless birds flying around,

And a shrine gate in front if me with ragged talismans attached,
dried blood completely noticeable on it.

Overall, the aura of this place was completely and surely, Demonic.

Taking in a breath, Kaida took a step forward inside the shrine gate.
As she did,
A massive whirlpool suddenly appeared not far from her
The sounds from earlier got louder and echoed in the whole place,
Lanterns continuously flicking,
Skeletons having their heads snapped towards Kaida's direction.

Her face did not show any signs of fear.
But inside her head, she was furiously praying for her dear life.

What in the fucking horror movie is this.

Kaida kept the chakra on her feet as to not lose balance while being guided by the massive whirlpool that has sucked her to the bottom of the water.
Strangely, not a single droplet made contact with her being-
