beyond time

Chapter 1

" We can't possibly start the launch now!"

" Michael, calm down and focus. We are already done with the shortage of funds and plus we got a head start"

"but we haven't even thought over it as a group and aren't ready"

" but we explained over this again and again and our calculations are done. Michael, it's time".

That moment after our argument was done, it was awkward. Nobody spoke after that and looks like everybody else knew about it but me.

Finally, I said "l'll have to think about it. I have things to take care of in my life you know!".

I just walked away furiously. I knew he was out of his mind. It was only November and I never was in any of this. Plus, we settled the launch on April and its only November. I knew it was going to be a tough decision making and I surely wasn't up for it. Instead, I just went home early and hit the bed straight. I don't know long I have been dozed off but it seemed like eternal. I refreshed up and went to Sam's friends house to pick him up and Freddy. We went out for dinner since we didn't have anything planned or exciting to eat. We went to a drive through at KFC and went straight home.

"So, what did you do exciting at Max's house"?

"Nothing really but I did finish my homework and we played his Xbox"

"Oh. Well we gotta hit the deck early since its daylight savings"

"Oh c'mon, why do we have to in the first place"?

"Well why don't you Google it"?

"Sam, just wondering, will you be mad at me if I just left to somewhere else"?

"Why do you say that"?

"Just asking"

"Well yeah duh, I mean your my dad"

I felt a sting in my stomach. I knew it's a big risk take but at the same time, I done it before so why can't I not do it again?

After that, even I went straight to bed with out working or worrying about anything for the first time in my life.
