This story is dedicated to my friend Marceline, who made the first request!

This is an Alastor fanfic where reader gets home from a long day of either school or work, and Alastor takes them to the couch, wraps them in blankets, makes some hot chocolate while they cuddle and watch movies. No the movie isnt Bambi.

You sighed, throwing your bag on the floor and huffing silently. Your cheeks were red from the chilling winter weather that had invaded your area not too long ago. It was nearing Christmas and unfortunately you hadn't been able to gather items for a nice decoration, so for now all you were stuck with was cold weather and a headache every time you returned into your cozy house.

Rubbing your cold hands together you were about to take your coat off when you felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist, and a warm face nuzzle your cold neck. The change of temperature made you shiver, but was welcome nonetheless.

"Welcome home, mon Cher." You heard your boyfriend Alastor whisper to you.

Yes, Alastor. The radio demon from Hazbin Hotel. Big deal, big deal. He had suddenly came to you while you were making a sandwich, and decided he would stick around (much to your past self's dismay.) But eventually, you fell head over heels for him, and he hadn't realized how quickly he had fallen for your as well.

You sighed, again, and leaned your head back a little. Alastor seemed to pick up on your down mood, and he sounded more sympathetic with his next sentence; "My dear, did anything happen today?" He'd asked, like he does every time you show even a sliver of distress. You imagined it would become annoying, but every time you feel the need to melt into his arms and confess all your worries when you see his never-faltering soft smile.

You pulled your head back up, and turned around to face your demon boyfriend. He was wearing something comfortable, like he usually does around you. His red turtle-neck sweater suited his shortly chopped hair, and his eyes shone a deep shade of scarlet that matched no shade of red you had ever seen before. The fluffy ears that adorned his head were tipped with a red-black color and you wondered if he ever wore anything that wasn't either red or black.

His ears twitched when his eyes looked at you in concern, and you couldn't stop the warm smile that was shining through your cloudy mood. Just one look at your adoring boyfriend, and all the worries melt away like the remaining snow in the spring of a new year.

You sighed happily, wondering how you had ever despised this cute deer demon, and while still smiling, you finally answered his question:

"Nah, just a rough day. It's fine now, no worries." You answered. You weren't lying, when you saw his soft ears twitch on his head, and the way his hair swished to the side as he tilted his head cutely trying to decipher what was wrong, the stress of today faded away like it had never been there in the first place.

You felt this comfort was fleeting, but you also could not enjoy it more than you already were.

The permanent crease in your eyebrows ceased, and your muscles relaxed. This was home, and your loving boyfriend was here to greet you.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He gently asked, taking the coat that still hung around your shoulders off you. It should've been cold, but you guessed Alastor lit up the fireplace that was under your TV.

While he turned around, you held in your giggle as you saw his adorable tail sticking out from his black jeans. You remembered going shopping with him for clothes, and returning home with a palate of only red and black. Your grin widened when you remembered he shyly came to you, shuffling his feet and asking you if he could cut holes in the back of the jeans so his tail could stick out and not hurt.

You were obviously on board with the idea, finding his deer features a plus, and undeniably the cutest thing you'd ever seen.

Once he was done hanging up his coat, he turned back to you, raising his eyebrow at the hand raised to your mouth.

"I don't understand what's so funny, but," he started, walking up to you and taking the hand away from your mouth. "there's no need to hide that beautiful smile of yours." He finished, with a loving grin that warmed your heart.

You were absorbed into his eyes, but finally you two broke away when you shivered slightly.

"Ah, right, your question," You cleared your throat awkwardly. "No, it's fine, the day has already passed, and I'm home now. I'd rather just do something fun."

Alastor nodded, still looking at you lovingly. You and him never felt the need to discuss any matter containing things you didn't want to talk about. He never took offense if you didn't want to talk about a bad day, and simply understood and tried to make you feel better. He looked at you thoughtfully before grabbing your hand and dragging you over to the couch, plopping you down and holding you down with hands on your shoulders.

"Stay here, let me go grab something." Alastor said, removing his hands and snapping his fingers so a big, fluffy blanket wrapped itself around you.

You didn't need to be told twice as you snuggled into the comfortable blanket, and before long Alastor had returned with two cups in his hand, which he promptly placed on the white coffee table that stood before you. Then he grabbed the TV remote, and clicked to Disney+.

You realized you had never watched Bambi with him before, and your grin turned into a scheming one as you caught his attention with a whisper and an innocent smile.

"Hey, babe, can we watch Bambi?" You asked, giving him puppy eyes.

(a/n: SIKE BITCH I LIED)

Seemingly unaware, he shrugged and clicked on Bambi. His eyebrows rose a little when he saw the picture, but he clicked on it nonetheless.

The start of the movie had begun, and Alastor was now snuggled next to you, sharing the fluffy blanket that kept you safe from the world. One of his arms was wrapped around your side, and your head rested on his shoulder. You both held your cup of which you now learned was steaming hot chocolate, and before long the marshmallows inside the cup had disappeared, leaving a warm brown brew that smelled delicious.

Alastor had already turned the lights off, and the fireplace was crackling while you looked at you boyfriend's eyebrows raise continually throughout the movie. At the end, you were shedding a couple tears and Alastor was staring at the screen disapprovingly, muttering something about how the hunter shouldn't have gone after the unsuspecting fawn.

Something clicked in his head,  and he turned to you asking incredulously: "Did you pick this movie to see my reaction?"

You averted your eyes and innocently sipped your hot chocolate, when it disappeared from your hands and felt an impending feeling of doom when Alastor suddenly started tickling you.

Your eyes were leaking tears and you begged Alastor to stop, when he finally did with a disapproving yet playful smile. He couldn't stay angry at your smiling face.

He sighed, and turned back to the TV; "I'm picking the movie this time."

You tuned into Beauty and the Beast, and before long the steaming cups of hot chocolate laid empty on the coffee table, and before you could doze off, Alastor sleepily asked you:

"Hey (Y/N)?"

"Yes Alastor?" You mumbled, barely awake

"I love you, (Y/N)" He said adoringly.

A soft smile graced your sleepy features.

"I love you too."

Then, you and Alastor had fallen asleep with him having his arms wrapped around you comfortingly and protectively. Your head rested on his chest and your hands were in his fluffy hair, and in your sleep you smiled.

This is nice, you had thought.

You felt warm, loved, and you never wanted to let go of this source of happiness.
