The yelling was so loud.

Blood rushed to your ears, pulse thundering as you slammed the door opening, hot tears running down your face. Your bloodshot eyes took one last glimpse of the man causing this emotional turmoil. You despised him for getting into an argument with you over such a simple thing, and you refused to let the feeling of hatred spiral when you realized he was letting you leave.

So much for being there for you forever, you scoffed. Turning back around after giving a hateful glare, done inspecting Alastor's face for any trace of regret you knew wouldn't be there.

The tears dripped onto the dry ground, and your stomping footsteps carried you far away from your shared cabin, taking you as far as the city where your angry tears gradually turned to desperate sobs.

You despised people seeing you emotional, a factor you probably picked up from Alastor, so you chose an alleyway to sit in and be miserable.

You glanced at the sky, your tears blurring your vision as another pathetic sob left your throat.
You undoubtedly looked like a mess, your hair bushy and the dark circles under your eyes felt like they were weighing on you.

You felt so stressed. Your stomach churned, the anxiety enveloping you. It had been okay up until now, so why did this happen? You and Alastor loved eachother, going as far as to bind your souls together. You felt this love would never falter, that you would never be apart. And the sobbing that had ceased looking at the crimson sky gradually started again.

"Why..." You pathetically whimpered, holding your head in your face. How could this happen? Why to you? To us?

Your head hurt, and your legs ached.

Your eyelids felt heavy, and you wanted to do nothing more than to go home into Alastor's arms, apologize for everything and let him soothe you to sleep with whispers of love and comfort, erasing any stress that you had experienced up until now.

You knew you couldn't though. No, he had made his choice letting you step out of that door.
He will pay for that. Let him worry, you'll be spending the night in a hotel nearby.

You clumsily stood up, tear stained rosy cheeks and a snotty nose. Some hair stuck to your face, and a headache was plaguing you the second you decided to find a place to sleep.

You turned to the exit of the alleyway, however your breath hitched as you felt something cool pressing against the fragile skin of your neck.

"Hey there babe, what's a pretty lady like you doing all alone out here, crying?" A demon behind you asked, almost mockingly.

Your shivered involuntarily, the cool blade of the knife threatening you feeling painfully cold against your flushed skin.

You swallowed thickly, not taking chances in your emotional state; "Mind your own business. I have somewhere to be." Your authority tone no doubt did not match the state you were in, but you could sense the demon's hesitation.

The demon seemingly made up his mind, concluding you were in no state to fight back.
"Are you sure about that? Up until now you seemed pretty content with sitting there crying your eyes out for at least another hour." He snarkily replied, unappreciative of how you almost made him take the blade away from your neck.

You rolled your eyes and laughed, although, you noted, it sounded more pathetic than it usually does.

"Well, I have a boyfriend who wouldn't appreciate you attacking me like this." You paused.
Are you relying on Alastor again? You scoffed mentally. You can't save yourself in a situation like this? Your eyes darkened, and you remembered the searing rage that roared in your blood when you looked at his face. No, you would do this alone. You didn't need his help anymore.
