"Do you know anything about this Master that could help us take him down?" Liam asks.
Fenrir pales. "You can't."
William sighs. "Fenrir, we've been through this. Victor and I need to know how to protect you four."
"You don't understand!" Fenrir says, looking at William with tears in Jax's eyes.
William was taken aback.
"What are you leaving out, Bud?" William asks, this time with more gentleness in his voice.
"You can't take him down." Fenrir states, as if everyone should know that.
William is silent, hoping this allows Fenrir to explain.
"Jax and Kaila tried once. They lit him on fire, had us attack him. He just seemed to keep regenerating. Noting stopped him. That's also how my first host died. He died trying to protect his son."
"Do you know who your old host's son is?" William asks, deep into the conversation.
Fenrir nods. "His name was Erien. I was with my old host since that day he turned to a werewolf, so I was there for every part of his son's, my son's, life until that retched day."
There were tears running down Jax's face, but they weren't his. They were the poor wolf's who, in his long life, had seen to much.
William stands up, and walks over to the wolf.
While nothing is needed to be said as the two embrace, soft sobs and gently mummers can be heard only in that small part of the house.
