Charlie has this little sister, Lola. She is small and very funny. Today is a very special day.

Lola: Look at that snow.

Charlie: Will school be closed?

Mum: Listen to the radio and find out.

Lola and Charlie turn up the radio.

Man on radio: Anderson Primary, Bayville Primary, Clark Secondary School, all closed due to snow. The Heath School, The Pinewood School...

Mum: Drink up now.

Charlie and Lola: Mum!

Mum: (chuckling)

Charlie and Lola: Please, please, please.

Lola: Class B.

Charlie: Class H.

Man on radio: And, are there any schools actually open today? No classes at River Valley High. And finally here, Lloyd George High School, no classes all day.

(Charlie and Lola sigh.)

Man on radio: No-no-no-no-no-no-no. Wait a minute. Th-- this just in. Class B and Class H will not, I repeat, will not have any school today.

Charlie: Yay!

Lola: Yippee!

Today is a Snow Day!

Mum: (chuckles)

Charlie gets out his hat, boots and mittens.

Charlie: Snow fort. I'm making a snow fort. Mum, you pack the walls. We need gluey snow. Gluey.

Mum: (chuckles) Thank you, Charlie, but I have to do some work today.

And off Charlie went.

Mum: Lola, do you want to help your big brother build a fort?

Lola: No.

Mum: Do you want to build your own?

Lola: I have an even better idea!

Lola gets her video camera.

Lola: Watch! Stick around for an extra special report: Snow Day!

Later, Lola wants to interview someone about the snow.

Lola: Hello, Lotta.

Lotta: Oh, hello, Lola. Are you ready?

Lola: Yes, I am!

Lotta: All right, it's recording!

Lola: (clearing her throat) Good morning! Lola here, your official Snow Day reporter, on special assignment covering the biggest snowstorm in... ever, ever, ever! Just look at this snowbank here! (whispers): No, Lotta. Here. A snowbank is taller than a 5-year-old girl! Aw...

Lotta: That's it?

Lola: Ah... No. I mean...

Lotta: We could interview someone.

Lola: Yes! It's called a Man-on-the-Street interview.

Lotta does not see a man, she only sees snow.

Lotta: No man.

Lola: No street.

But Lola sees someone.

Dad: (grunting)

Lola: Excuse me, sir. Are you a man on the street?

Dad: Erm, no. I'm a man in a driveway.

Lola: That'll do. (clears throat) Lola here, with a special Man-in-the-Driveway interview, just one day after the biggest snowstorm ever, ever, ever! And what is your name, sir?
