The Monday morning sun rose into the sky, Prime stepped into the group's room to wake them for school. Of course, they groaned knowing that Thanksgiving break was over. Raylee, Brooke, and Andrew took their sweet time getting up and dressing for school, while Koda and Ash were already dressed.
Andrew made a quick breakfast for everyone. Classic pancakes, bacon, and eggs. The pancakes were stacked in twos, with the bacon crossed into an X on top. Syrup had been poured over, and the eggs had been stacked to the side.. They all ate and walked out of the room, catching a conversation between Prime and Ratchet. It was something about a dark force, though they didn't pay much attention to it. Bulkhead walked over to the group,
"I'll be y'all's ride to school, wherever that is," he said, transforming into his truck mode.
"I know where it is. I'll open a ground bridge for you" Ratchet answered, typing away at his computer.
Again the group saw the purple vortex appear before them. Bulk told them to hop in, and once they did, they were off through the portal and it closed behind them. The ground bridge was sent close to the school, where it couldn't be seen by other people.
As the group came closer to the school, the more nervous and uncomfortable Koda began to appear. Raylee looked back at him.
"Hey, what's wrong Koda?" Raylee said, tilting her head.
Ash looked back. "Yeah, you good? Somethin' on your mind?"
Koda shook his head."Nah, I just- I have a bad feeling," he paused. "I don't know why, I just do," his words slowed as he looked out the window.
"Now that you mention it..." everyone looked at Brooke." I think I feel it too, but maybe it's just our nerves," they said, waving away the tension.
They all had that strange feeling, like something bad was going to happen, but most decided to not say anything so as to not freak each other out.
Soon they arrived at the school, they thanked Bulk quietly, and he drove off. The group walked into the school and the feeling surged. You could see how uncomfortable they were, yet Ash and Andrew ignored it. They said their "See ya laters," and went to their separate classes.
It rolled around to 5th period, lunch time for the group. They got their food and scurried to the favorite table in the far corner of the lunch room. They were all quiet before Andrew blurted out, "Is anyone else sick of this? I feel like I'm being watched!" He hissed, slamming his fists onto the table.
The other sighed as a way to say yes.
Ash slumped into his mass of hair. "I want to get this day done and over with, I've never had my nerves spike like this," he began to wildly scratch at his arms.
"I have," Brooke and Koda said at the same time.
Ash just squinted his eyes and looked at the two as if to say "I know!" before putting his head down. After some silence the group started the normal ritual of just annoying the rest of the cafeteria by laughing and yelling, except for Brooke and Raylee who were mostly quiet.
As the energy amped up, Raylee noticed two teens near them. They were just watching the group. One was a boy with black hair with a purple fade at the bottom. He wore a gray tank top and dark gray pants, which were covered by a dark purple hoodie wrapped around his waist. Next to him was a girl with dirty blond hair and saturated purple ends. She wore a light lavender crop top and a dark purple shirt underneath with black leggings. She also has a beautiful necklace with bright purple colored gems on it. Both had odd purple tattoos inked onto their arms.
They both looked back at Raylee with wild, animalistic eyes and smiled, but their grins didn't feel pleasant. Raylee gulped and tugged on Koda's hoodie and nodded toward the two toothy-grinned teens staring at them. Koda looked over at them and felt dread, as if they were looking into his soul. He looked away trying to ignore them.
