If I wasn't feeling well before, I was definitely super sick now. It was after dinner, and I my eyelids were heavy. I felt freezing cold, but hot at the same time. I sat on the couch with a glass of wine in my hand, zoning out from whatever conversation was flowing throughout the room.

"Mikasa?" Eren was waving a hand in front of my face, and I shook back to reality.

"Yeah?" I said, and I could tell that my voice was weak. Eren looked at me worriedly.

"You really aren't feeling good, are you?"

"Eh, I was but now I feel like absolute crap." I put down my glass on the coffee table. Everyone's eyes were on me, and I hated the attention that I was attracting. Eren gently put the back of the hand on my forehead and let out a sigh.

"You are really burning up now," He said.

"Yeah, I can feel it." I rolled my eyes. I could see Eva, Julia and Celina trying not to laugh from the other side of the room. Good that they think this is funny.

My thoughts were interrupted when I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. Eren lifted me slightly, placing me on his lap. I was felt too weak to even respond, so I allowed him to. He turned and lied down so that he was lying on his back on the couch, with me curled up against his chest.
"E-Eren," I stuttered, feeling a blush spread across my cheeks, and I covered it as per usual with my scarf.

"I just need to take care of my sick princess," I could hear the smirk in his voice as he gently kissed the top of my head.

I blushed even more. Great, now I was a damsel in distress. "I'm fine, Eren." I muttered.

"Mikasa, we all know that whenever you say you're fine, you aren't." I heard Armin laugh.

"No really, I'm fine." I insisted, but no one listened to me.

Okay, maybe I wasn't fine, but I wasn't about to let them get the satisfaction of knowing that. I quietly listened to the conversations floating around the room, but I couldn't really concentrate on any of them. I could feel myself drifting away into sleep, and as much as I didn't want to, I quickly fell asleep.

I woke up with a pounding in my forehead. I waited for my eyes to adjust in the dark. I looked around, and I was most definitely not in the Jaeger's living room. I shot straight up, kneeing a defenceless Eren down below on the way.

"Oh my fuck!" Eren yelled, curling up into a ball. The two of us were lying in the bedroom upstairs. I guess that there was no reason for me to go into full-blown panic mode after all.

I blinked sleep from my eyes, "Sorry." I mumbled.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just didn't know where I was and panicked." I admitted, sinking back down into the bed.

"I was surprised that you didn't wake up when I carried you up here." Eren laughed, and I could hear the sleepiness in his voice. I looked over at the alarm clock; it was about six thirty in the morning. There was no way that I could fall back asleep, since I had gone to bed so early the night prior.

Eren wrapped his arms around my waist once again. I had finally become accustomed to his touch, and I had learned to absolutely love it.

"Eren, did you change your bandages last night?" I asked, the thought randomly popping into my head.

He paused, "No, I forgot."

I sat up once again, this time getting out of the bed, "We have to go do that now. Your arms are going to get infected if you don't." I shook my head, gathering gauze and a disinfectant out of my bag.
