S1E1: A new day

You watched as your father went to go awake the new survivors that were brought back to the farm house last night. You sat on the porch of the house with your mother and brother talking about where you guys were going when your father got the car fixed.

Your dad and the strangers came over to where you were sitting. "Guys this is Lee and, sorry what was your name hon?" your father said, the other little girl stood behind the other man, Lee. The girl seemed scared, you jumped off from the porch and walked up tp her with your hand out. "Hi! I'm Y/n, but you can call me n/n (nickname)" She gave a sheepish smile to you and took your hand. "Clementine"

"That's a very beautiful name Clementine" your mother said from behind you. Soon Shawn came around the corner asking if anyone wanted to help on the fence, your brother volunteered and ran over to the back to go help him, and by help it's probably annoying him to death.

Clem walked behind you and you both sat on the porch, you next to your mother and Clem over next to you. Your father walked over to go adjusted the car up before you guys left, Lee followed over to Kenny. Then after Lee came over to check on Clem and the rest of us. He soon left to follow where Duck and Shawn went.

"So he's not your dad?" you say to Clem hinting over to Lee as he walks into the barn where Hershel is. "No.." she said looking over then back to you. "Where are your mum and dad?" you ask curiously. You mum put her hand over onto your shoulder. "Y/N! I don't think she wants to tell you" You look at your mother and put your head down. "Sorry Clem" "It's fine. My parents went on a trip to Savanah.. I hope their okay" She says with a hint of sadness.

Suddenly Shawn screamed from the fence, then you remembered your brother was over there, you got up and ran to see if he was okay, but the sight you saw, you didn't expect you went to go over but your mum pulled you back, Lee ran over to duck with the help of your father they all escaped, Lee went to go over and save Shawn.. but it was to late, they broke the fence down and started gnawing on his flesh. Hershel came out with a shotgun, but it was too late. He kneeled down to his son and told us to leave, the rage in his eyes was horrible. Kenny somberly walked over to Lee and told him that he's got the ride to Macon if he wants it.

You all have been driving for hours, it became the late afternoon. The car ran out of gas and everyone got out of the car. Your brother spotted some across from you all and your father went to holler for help, that was the wrong idea, turns out it was a monster. We got surrounded and duck got attacked, you went to go over but a gunshot ran past you and killed the thing, you help duck to his feet while an Asian man was telling everyone to come into the drug store.

When you entered an argument broke out from the people that saved you.

"We can't take risks like this"

"And we just can't let people die, either"

"When I SAY that door stays shut no matter what, I fucking mean it. We don't know who these people are. They could be dangerous"

"Or worse, they could've let them right towards us"

"Where the hell is your humanity?"

"We have kids with us" Lee spoke up, they turned to us and the old guy spoke

"I see two little girls"

Clem went to take Lee's hand, he asked what she needed and she needed the bathroom. He told her to wait. "I'll come with you Clem" you whispered, she nodded and you both went to the bathroom

"They've got kids Lilly"

"Those things outside don't care"

"Maybe you should go and join them, You'll have something in common"

"God dammit lilly, you can't control these people"

"She's the leader here" Lee spoke over to Kenny "But it looks like she's losing control of her people"

"If you were in my shoe's you'd be th--"

"Holy shit. Son of a bitch. One of them is bitten"

"He wasn't bit" Lee deafened

"We let one in you stupid shits. We have to end this now"

"Over my dead body" Kenny stepped in front of his son while Katjaa cleans him up

"We'll dig one hole"

"No! I'm cleaning up! There's no bite! He's fine"

"Don't you fucking people get it. We've already SEEN this happen. We let someone with a bit stay and we all end up bitten"

"Shut up"

"We gotta throw him out. Or smash his head in

"KENNY! Stop him!"

Lee sided with Kenny to kick his ass, they started arguing more when Clem turned to you. "The door's locked, I think someone is in there." You went to try and open the door and it didn't budge. "Hmm. That's weird" Larry then stated that he wasn't the bad guy and that he was looking out for his daughter. Your dad punched the guy but turned right around and knocked your dad on his ass.

You and Clem screamed when a walker came out of the bathroom it started to go after Clem, your parents called you over but you couldn't just leave Clem to fend for herself. You grabbed a nearby pocketknife lying around and stabbed it into it's leg, you squealed a little and it started to come after you. Then that girl from before shot the monster. It died, again. You walkers from outside heard and started banging on the door, everyone backed away and hid behind a counter? Then the sounds of guns came.

"Is that the military?"

"Thank god to whatever it is"

"We almost died because of this bitch and her itchy trigger finger. That was stupid, That was-- ARGHHH" The older man fell down to his knees and held his chest.

The Asian man said that he was going to go get some gas, there was a motel not to far, then everyone introduced themselves. Glenn, Lilly, Larry, Carley and Doug.

You and Clem followed Lee into the back room, there was a bed with a huge blood stain on the floor. You left to go over to your parents and brother. "Are you okay?" you mum asked. "I'm fine.. are you ok duck?" Your brother nodded. You guys sat down. Soon enough Lee went to check on Glenn before checking up on everyone else.

Lee and Glenn came back, they got the gas, next they had to get the nitroglycerin pills for Larry.

Lee got the key for the pharmacy, They went to unlock the door but an alarm went off, the infected crawled and creeped in from everywhere. One grabbed Doug while another grabbed Carley, Lee chose to save Carley. Your father came through the door and told everyone to move, They followed after him to the alleyway and got into the car.

We drove to the motel to stay, the adults gathered all the walkers bodies and tossed them away while us kids watched. Glenn split away from the group, we watched as he took off down the road. Your father walked off to Lee to talk about things, while Clem told you what she heard and saw when you left the drugstore about Lee.
