Trish's POV

Me, Lita, Matt and Logan are outside my house I took a deep breath and walked inside I saw my mum walking down the stairs.

Trish's mum: hello sweetie

Trish: hi mum

Trish's mum: what's wrong?

Trish: umm we need to umm talk

Trish's mum: okay but you're scaring me

My mum sat on the sofa and patted a seat beside her I sighed and sat beside her and my friends followed.

Trish's mum: whatever you have to tell me you can

Trish: you know Jay?

Trish's mum: your boyfriend yes I know him he's a sweet guy

Trish: he isn't mum

Trish's mum: what are you talking about?

Trish: for the last few weeks he has been abusing me and cheating on me with random girls

Trish's mum: what?

Trish: I have been covering up the bruises and scars and cuts with makeup so I don't worry you I'm sorry but I was scared on how you would feel if you saw me how you did years ago

Trish's mum: can I see?

I nodded slowly and rubbed off the makeup and it revealed dark purple bruises, cuts, scars from past beatings Jay gave me in secrecy.

Trish: I'm sorry mum

Trish's mum: it's not your fault darling

Logan: I'll help Trish to break up with Jay because he hurt her the last time she tried to do it

Lita: is that when you said that you worked it out?

Trish: *nods* I confronted him like I said and he abused me and said that I should lie to everyone and say that we worked it out and I knew from that moment it was history repeating itself.

Trish's mum: I should've noticed when you skipped meals, went straight to your room, dark circles underneath your eyes.

Lita: you skipped meals?

Matt: oh no

Trish: what?

Matt: I've just had a text saying Jeff is coming here

Trish: good he deserves to know the truth if I can tell my mum I can tell Jeff I think

Matt: don't worry my brother will understand but don't mention the skipping meals he will definitely get worried.

Trish: I'm sorry but Jay was calling me fat and saying that I should lose some weight

Lita: don't listen to him

Logan: Lita is right your perfect just the way you are and don't forget that Trish

Trish: thanks Logan

Then there was a knock on the door I took a deep breath but Matt told me to stay put and he opened the door.

Jeff: Matt? I thought you were on a date with Lita?

Lita: hey Jeff?

Jeff: hi? What's going on?

Logan: hi Jeff

Jeff: what is he doing here!

Trish: umm.....
