winter

I sighed
I had put on two separate big puffy coats with the fur on the hood. Even in this part of romaina were it had always felt like winter, during the actual season everything had gone colder and the wind blew harder as well. it had only been two months after i had found out i was pregnant again. lynn had been sat up on my hip her in five coats, a heated suit and her fluffy snow boats, we were stood there waiting for the carriages that alcina had sent for us. in the distance we could hear the heavy crunching in the snow there was a lantern in the distance. as soon as they halted infront of us we had gotten into them and the horses walked off, the the castle. The reason karl hadnt come was to keep the factory up to date making sure everything had ran smoothly changing out oil, nuts, bolts and screws. I walk into the castle and the three sister take lynn off of my hip to go watch after her. What i was wearing that day what my red hoodie, black strechy pants and my black fluffy boots, "no 'lover boy' y/n" alinca said in a teasing tone, i look back at her, lips tucked in and my face glowing like a chrismas lights, she laughed hysterically, "where is he anyway?" She said finishing off her laughing attack with a few giggles, "hes rerunning the factory, making sure everything is working how its exposed to be and changing out old and disgusting to new and well still disgusting" i said as i left my boots outside the castle and shutting the door tight. "Of course its the factory i should have guessed for the most" she said as we walked to the lounge. We sat down, the girls and lynn all playing in the corner. "Ever since we've all had been revived the girls hadnt had there fly problem, of course its alot more unnerving when you dont have to drench each cranny and crevasse of the castle with something to keep the flys from mating in my seats and vases" alcina said as she looked over to them."but i have been worried simply because before all of our relivel the girls were just dead bodys, active and moving by caduo, but now i have the feeling that they revived as blood-related-dragons" she says with a sigh "i dont see whats wrong with that your a true mother tied by blood and trust" i said "how was it when brooklynn was first born?" She says as she shifts her eye to me. "Tiring at first, she would never stop crying at night, but shes grown so much and she not even one yet she already knows how to walk and talk a bit" i say as i smile."well agleast im not the only mother here" she says as she laughs "did i ever tell you?" I say as I look at her "tell me what?" She cocks her head, "im pregnant again" i said as i lay my hands on my bumped stomach."again? Thats great!." She says with a smile on her face. I nod and smile back. "This time me and karl are bettting different, l bet its a girl and he bets a boy. But he'll love it eitherway" i say as i giggle. "How many do you two wish to have?"she asked."i dont know four or five to say the least, iv always wanted a big family and this dream is coming true" i said as i streched out. I looks at the grandfather clock."its already been two hours?" I say as i chuckle. "I guess so, karls expecting you isnt he" she asked, "yea its about dinner time for everyone about now" i say as i walk over and pick up lynn. The girls hugged her goodbye before i walked away. I put lynns boots on her and her coats on before i put mine on."we'll be on our way now" i waved goody bye before opening the door."Alright be safe" they all say. I nod before shutting the door behind me.

Once we had gotten back to the factory i bathed lynn and set her down for a nap. I sigh as i lean back on the chair in the kitchen. Really what i wanted to do today was cuddle with karl and lynn, but i was nice getting to chat with alcina. I streched out and stood up from the chair i was in then started to look around for karl. I looked in the place with the most machinery first

I looked in the lowest part of the factory that could be reached he wasnt there but i could tell he had fixed down her from his steps ingraved in the trash. I follow them and it led me all the way to my favorite spot. There i found karl just staring into the raven of machinery and the blackened oil below that looked like a little short river. He looked into it blankly like he had been thinking of something important

"Karl?" I asked as i walked towards him. He snapped out of trance and shot his head toward me. I laugh a little bit, sitting right beside him, leaning on his shoulder as we both stared into it. One simple glance at this place and all your worries and fears are washed away along with your thoughts. I sighed as my eyes grew heavier and everything became more comfortable, he lays down and shoves my head onto his chest, cuddling his warm body. It was so reliving after a cold day. I could feel myself falling under before i fell under onto his chest. I fell asleep with a smile on my face as my ears focused in with the loud rowring machine.
