2) house party

Later that night, daniel texted me:

Max, come to Henry's house party. Me and noah are here already. Sneak out of the house and go to 234 east endwood street. Dont worry, he's not going to mess with you bro. And plus, alexis is here!

Hearing her name made me jump out of bed. I immediately opened my closet and putted on some lighted jeans and a red shirt.

Before I left my room, I looked at the clock and it was 12:38. When I left my room I snuck pass my mother and father room because they are both light sleepers.

When I got on the staircase, I actually thought out loud. My mother heard me and so I hurried to the door. When I opened the door, my mother was at the top of the steps. She just looked, but did not go downstairs.

I left my house and then hurried to Henry's house. As I got closer to his house, I got more and more scared. I was worried that I would be embarrassed and humiliated by Henry again. Then I thought back to when I was in science class, and me teacher told me that nobody can stop me from having fun. That gave me courage and pride.

When I arrived at the party it was 1:05 am and I knocked on the door. Seconds later, peter, Henry's best friend answered and told me to come in. I was shocked, I thought he was gonna say something smart to me. When I got in I seen pretty much everyone from our school. His house was big and was 3 stories high. When I went in the kitchen, I seen my two friends standing there quietly. They seen my immediately and started to walk towards me.

" Hey max," noah said with discomposure.

"I told you noah, max is a real man unlike you."Daniel said.

" Where is alexis" I asked expectantly.

"I think she upstairs with henry"dan said. "but they told us not to bother them though, they need some privacy."

When Daniel said that my heart dropped. I started to feel jealous of Henry.

" I want revenge" I said angrily. " Henry's went to far this time".

" Bro its not that big of a deal, she's just a girl." Noah said.

"It is a big deal, I really love that girl and ill do anything for her, ill die for her if I have to man" I said as my voice softened. "The boy really loves her" daniel said to noah with astonishment.

Seconds later we walked to the living room were everyone was at dancing and having fun. Thats when Henry and alexis came downstairs.

"Can I have everyones attention." Henry said playfully.

Everyone had gotten quite soon after he said that.

" First of all I would like to say that im happy to see u all here!"

Everyone cheered as if they was praising him.

"Everyone is looking beautiful especially my girlfriend alexis."

"And I would like to give a big shout out to max and his friends."

Everyone got quite immediately and looked at him with confusion.

"Everyone give it up for the geek squad!"

Everyone laughed at us including alexis and made fun of us.

I finally got tired of it and said, "shut up, you are all stupid, immature kids, grown up."

"You shut up and get out, you and your friends, now" Henry said intensely.

"ok, I dont care. This party is corney anyway"i said as I headed to the door. "Come on guys, lets go."

My friends hesitated to leave, but finally started following me.

I left Henry's house party with pride and anger.
