After Dean and Castiel had their discussion about having their own children Dean decided to look into it. Castiel left early in the morning one day though luckily Dean was awake at this time, he told Dean he'd be gone for a while as Jack needed his help and assured Dean he was safe. As soon as Castiel was out of the bunker Dean started his research. He looked through the entire library unable to find anything that jumped out at him to solve their unique problem except a name, Drayton Grey. The name was mentioned as a sorcerer who had found a way to ward off spirits with a special herb but it mentioned that there was a rumor surrounding him that he and his late husband who had died in the early 1700's, had their own biological children. Though no records of their birth was found and the Men of Letters were only able to contact him up until he moved to the what was called the New World but was truly the U.S. other than those records he was barely ever heard of.

Eventually Sam woke up and found Dean surrounded in books. "Dean it's 4 AM what are you researching?" Asked Sam as he walked closer.
"None of your damn business Sam!" Barked Dean as he threw a book at him.
"What the hell Dean!?" He shouted as he ducked out of the way.
"Sorry I didn't mean that I'm just pissed." He stated with a sigh as he sat in a chair and hung his head.
"Well maybe if you don't throw things at me I can help." Stated Sam as he walked over and sat with his brother. "What are you looking for?" Asked Sam as Dean threw his head back.
"I was looking for a spell or anything but I found a name that was useful but there's nothing on this guy!" Exclaimed Dean out of frustration.
"Well what's the name? The Men of Letters may not have anything on him but the internet might." Stated Sam as he brushed some papers off of his laptop and opened it.
"Drayton Grey." Stated Dean as he pulled his chair over and watched his brother research the name.
"Alright here's something." Stated Sam as he clicked on a link. "Drayton Grey, the man who inherited 2 million dollars from philanthropist and CEO Dick Roman, becomes a shut in and practically unknown." Sam read allowed as he scrolled down to a picture that they both paused at.
"Son of a bitch." Gasped Dean as they both gave questioned looks.
"Is that Rowena?" Asked Sam as the picture displayed a man in a deep purple and black floral suit with a purple buttoned down shirt standing next Rowena in one of her most elegant evening gowns, but the one feature Dean focused upon the most was the fact that the picture was taken at night but Drayton still wore mirrored shades.
"What a douchebag." Growled Dean as Sam sighed.
"Well now we need to go to Hell." Stated Sam and that's exactly what they did.

As they walked down a hall in Hell being led to Rowena Sam decided to find out why Dean wanted this guy. "So you never said why this guy can help you." Stated Sam as Dean sighed.
"Last night I was talking with Cas and he mentioned that he wished he had found a chick as his vessel so he and I could have our own kid." Stated Dean as he sighed. "So if rumors are true this guy Drayton found a way to have a kid with his husband." Stated Dean as Sam looked at him.
"But you and Cas have only been together a month don't you think you're rushing things?" Asked Sam as Dean sighed.
"Look I just want to know if there's a way, if not I'll drop it but if there is I'll wait a few more months maybe even a year before I tell Cas what I found and see how he reacts." Said Dean as they walked.
"Dean what if there is a way and it's something horrible that you have to go through to make it happen? What will you do then?" Asked Sam as Dean sighed hanging his head.
"Well then I don't know Sammy." Stated Dean with a sigh as they approached the door. They walked into an elegant room where Rowena sat in a throne like seat as she stood as she saw them.
"Hello boys, how I can help you?" Asked Rowena as she walked up to them.
"I need everything you know on a man named Drayton Grey." Demanded Dean as Rowena smiled.
"Drayton's an old friend, why are you looking for him?" Asked Rowena cautiously.
"Don't worry we're not gonna kill him, Dean just wants to ask him a few questions." Stated Sam as Rowena sighed.
"Well I'm relieved you're not hunting him but sorry boys I can't help you." Stated Rowena as she turned away from them.
"What! Why?!" Demanded Dean as he grabbed Rowena's wrist.
"Because I haven't spoken to Drayton since before I knew Fergus was alive. He and I had a falling out and he'd kill you both if I sent you to him!" Stated Rowena ripping her arm out of Dean's grip.
"I'll pay you." Stated Dean in a desperate tone.
"Dean I'm dead I have no use for money!" Stated Rowena as Dean became even more pathetic.
"Please anything you want I'll do it! Just please give me something!" Begged Dean as Rowena saw how truly desperate he was and sighed. She materialized a business card out of thin air.
"It'll be a large cabin middle of the woods by a lake can't miss it." Rowena stated as she reluctantly handed the card to Dean.
"What do you want in return?" Asked Dean as he hesitated.
"I just want to know why this so important to you that you'd stoop so low as begging?" Asked Rowena as Dean sighed almost like he was folding to her will then lifted his gaze from the floor this her eyes.
"None of your damn business!" Growled Dean as he snatched the card from her hand. "Come on Sam." Stated Dean as he turned and left with his brother.
