Chapter 14

The next day at school I never saw karma anywhere I even asked Nagisa if he saw him but he didn't even know so I kept the letter in my bag, when it was an hour to P.E class he came walking in he just looked at me and gave a small smile. during P. E I tried talking with him but He just ignored me. so I decide to do something I  knew would get his attention. when It was time to pick partners for our hand-to-hand training.

before karma can even walk and ask me I walked over to Kousuke and ask him to be my partner which surprised everyone, halfway through the training I told Kousuke that this was just to get karma attention, Kousuke then smiled and said well your plan is working and he pointed to karma.

I turned and saw karma looking at us, he looked a bit unhappy so when P.E ended and we all went back to class I decided to try and talk with him again but he just kept walking away. which everyone thought that we were having a fight.

So I shouted  SO I GEUSS ALL MY HARD WORK To GET YOU ON MY GRANDPA TEAM WAS ALL FOR NOTHING. everyone looked at me and karma turned and said what I walked to my bag and took out the paper and gave it to him.

Just then my grandpa walked and said whichever one of you is karma welcome to my team, Everyone looked at karma with wide and shocked faces. I looked at him and said your welcome and walked to get my stuff since I didn't feel like staying for the rest of class.

I walked out of the class and dropped my stuff at my dad desk and let my mom know that I was gonna go for a run, she said ok and I walked out, and just as I was walking outside I heard my name be called by korosensi but I just ran out of the school.

while I was running I could hear someone following me so I decide to quickly hide and see who it was and to my surprise, it was kousuke and karma, they both were looking around. Then karma yelled  Anise please come out and talk to us, I slowly started moving back since I really just wanted to be alone but my foot stepped on a branch and karma started walking my way.

before I could run away kousuke was standing behind me blocking the way I sighed and said fine what do you guys want, kousuke then said oh I just came because karma knew that trying to stop you was gonna be a bit hard, I looked at karma and before I could speak he was hugging me.

I hugged back and then he began speaking I'm sorry I didn't realize that you were trying to get my attention so you can give me my letter and also thank you, I really didn't know how I would have handled us not being able to see each other or talk after this mission was done.

Karma I didn't want to end things after the mission was done so I started asking my dad If he can help by putting all your paperwork in so you can be an assassin too, but I never expect my dad to get you in right away. Kousuke then said I was surprised too because it took me over 4 years to finally get into the agency. another 3 months to get on your grandpa's team.

The rest of the day we all sat at the cliff and talked karma and kousuke both agreed that if we're gonna be a team now they need to put everything behind them.
