The family devoured the deer feast and sat in the cave bloated and tired,
"Must sleep until dark then go back to get riches" Gunnar announced through yawning.
He curled up on the solid rock ground and fell into a deep sleep as the others followed suit.
The orchestra of snoring echoed throughout the vast home but maintained its symphony within the cave walls as the boulder stopped any sound from escaping at the entrance.
Talitha observed her family in there deep slumber and carefully stood up, making her way to the large rock.
She made sure she didn't eat as much as her family as she knew what would happen and started to slowly put some supplies in her makeshift bag.
A stone dagger, leather flask of water, a few small stones and a large steak of deer meat went into her satchel,
"Back soon" she whispered to her family from a distance and carefully moved the boulder slightly and slithered through the crack.
The morning light pierced her eyes for a second but Talitha didn't let that distract her from the task ahead.
Throwing the satchel on her back, she sniffed the morning air with determination and used her troll speed to rip through the forest and to the border of town within seconds.
Animals jumped out of the way in fright, leaves were torn from their branches and a flurry of mud and dirt flew up as Talitha made her way to the edge of the forest.
She stood on the hill and looked down as she observed the city waking up and getting started for the day, pondering where to go first?
Black smoke began to stream from chimney tops, a flurry of activity increased from the streets ahead leading to the markets and the centre of town and tops of boats could be seen at the harbour on the other side of the town.
Watching the city come to life, Talitha's excitement grew and she hid behind a tree and looked up at the clear morning sky with glee,
"Riches!" She smiled to herself and closed her eyes tight.
Images of human women, she had observed on her many trips to the city with her family, flooded her mind as she focused on every aspect of their bodies with curiosity.
Their hair, facial features, body shape and posture danced around her head as she focused on one particular image.
A blonde woman smiled before her eyes and beckoned her forward.
Her slim, willowy figure intrigued Talitha as she admired the woman's tall, feminine stature, with a longing stare.
The stranger slowly waved her translucent hand to the curious troll, putting her into an obedient trance.
Talitha hypnotically floated towards the woman, holding her claw out before regaining control for a minute as she gasped in surprise.
"What is happening?" She panted as she looked down at her disappearing frame in terror.
The ghostly woman smiled and danced around the trembling troll, stroking and grabbing at her developing torso with intrigue.
Her fluid movements increased in speed and purpose as she grabbed and ripped at Talitha's rags, leaving her naked and hunched over, covering her modesty.
"Tis time" she breathed and stood in front of the petrified troll with fierce fortitude radiating from her intense eyes.

White shards of lights flew from her body and hit Talitha's quivering translucent frame as she cowered down at the menacing being in front of her.
"What are you?" Talitha cried out to the evolving creature attacking her.
The light pierced her thick skin like hot spikes, penetrating her thick exterior with ease.
"Let it envelop you" the woman whispered.
Her eyes widen with hunger as the light viciously slithered around Talitha's body like a snake in the veins.
Talitha let out a shriek in agony but no sound came out her mouth.
She frantically observed her fading body parts with terror and tried to regain control of her evaporating limbs but it was too late.
Her feet slowly lifted from beneath her as the woman held her arms out, controlling the light that had now fully consumed Talitha's dangling body.
"It's time" the petrifying entity mouthed and pulled Talitha towards her with force.
The woman frantically thrashed back and forth on the spot with inhuman speed before lunging forward with a look of pure mania emitting from her hollow eyes.
She let out a piercing scream as she dove into the terrified troll's small body as wriggled her own energy into place to fit into her new home.
Talitha's body spasmed at the impact of the invasion before falling to the ground in a heap.
Her lifeless body laid beneath the old oak tree she hid behind moments earlier.
"Can you hear me?" A familiar voice echoed around the unconscious troll's head.
"Yes" Talitha responded faintly.
"Rise and let us start our new destiny" the entity stated as she beckoned her new host to follow her command.
Talitha's small lifeless frame caught the attention of curious forest creatures as birds and squirrels cautiously circled the still mass in front of them before hastily scurrying into the trees and bushes at the sounds of footsteps ahead.
"Dead?" A voice sounded in front of her.
"Not sure but I guess we'll find out soon" an older man replied.
Talitha felt a gust of wind beneath her as she felt herself lifted off the ground, unsure who or what had taken her.
"Not part of our destiny but an interesting turn of events" the entity posed to the lifeless host as she watched Talitha's body being carried through the alleys of the town and into a bleak, dark room with only a faint sound of water and a smell of foreboding in the dank air.
