Mythical creatures go about their daily lives, living, working and trying to survive in Victorian London, whilst trying to hide their true natures from humans.

"Where am I?" Talitha asked nervously from beneath her blindfold.
"Hush! All will be revealed shortly" a male voice replied.
He threw her on the ground in a heap as Talitha struggled to regain control but it was no use.
Her hands were bound by her wrists behind her and with no time to test out her new human body, she realised she had no option but to wait to see what her kidnappers had in store for her.
Shuffling and whispers echoed around the newly transformed troll as she lifted her head and inhaled the dank air around her.
Scents of blood and sweat filtered into her senses as she tried to distract the grumbling in her stomach with a plan of escape.
"You know what to do!" The invading entity whispered to her.
"No! Let me think for myself" Talitha shouted aloud in frustration.
Distant sounds of hurried footsteps raced towards her as a force grabbed her by the shoulders and picked her up from the ground.
"I told you to be quiet!" The same man from earlier warned and dragged her forward.
Doors slammed and chattering sounded from ahead as the blindfold was ripped from Talitha's head and she finally managed to look her captors in the eye.
A tall, stocky man gave her a menacing glare as he gestured the other man to put her on the rickety wooden chair in the middle of the room.
Talitha observed her new surroundings with intrigue and was pleasantly surprised.
'This is where you eat, sleep and work from now on" the main man stated with a foreboding look in his eyes.
He ran his grubby fingers through his blonde locks and wiped his large hands on his black, dirty apron.
"Doesn't she need a uniform?" The younger man asked cautiously.
The blonde man looked at Talitha's ripped rags and nodded to his friend.
"Quickly, go get her one of Ethel's dresses" he ordered and the dark haired man left the kitchen with haste.
His appearance was equally as unkempt as Talitha assumed they were some type of help in the modest house she was being kept in.
She looked around the room for clues of her new location and looked for exit points.
Foods such as ham, bread and pulses adorned the surfaces around her as her stomach let out a growl of hunger,
"Don't think about touching that! Your just here to cook it for the master of the house" the man warned and roughly untied her hands.
Talitha rubbed her wrists together, attempting to get the blood flowing again as she watched her captor with an emotionless stare.
"Let me help you" the scheming entity whispered inside the troll's head.
"Help me? I don't even know what you are?" Talitha quietly whispered back, trying not to alert the angry man further.
"I'm the one you called for to help you turn into a human" the entity replied supremely.
"I didn't need help! It should have just happened but you hijacked my transformation" Talitha spat in frustration.
"Hijack is a strong word but just know that you need my help now if you want to escape this situation and to execute your original plan! But for now we are hungry so I'll help you with that issue first!" the entity calmly stated.
Talitha took her palm and started to hit the side of her head to make the invading voice stop talking but it didn't work.
"Stop that! I will not have you bruised and damaged when you meet the master" the blonde man shouted and grabbed Talitha's arms from her head.
"It's now or never" the entity continued to taunt as the annoyed man looked around for the rope to tie the tormented woman's hands back.
Talitha squirmed and struggled but her new body had more restrictions than she thought.
Throughout the struggle, her wrists began to bleed from the forceful man's tight restraints and she couldn't take anymore.
"Okay, help me!" Talitha cried in defeat.
"Your wish is my command" the entity purred with a blinding flash of white light.
Talitha's body went limp as she watched the terrifying events play out around her in slow motion, watching from the side-lines like a spellbound spectator unable to participate or intervene.

Blood splattered viciously on the walls, limps were ripped and thrown around the room with inhuman speed and organs were mashed into a pulp as it all slowed down to a halt and Talitha flew back on her chair.
"What is going on?" A voice shrieked from behind her.
Talitha looked at the massacre in front of her and followed the terrified man's petrified stare.
She looked down at her blood soaked rags and felt something wet and soft hanging from her mouth.
Her quivering hand brushed it from her face and she looked back at the shaking man in surprise.
It was a piece of the blonde man's flesh with the rest of his body making its way down to Talitha's satisfied stomach.
"You were hungry so I took advantage of the situation!" The entity laughed.
An emotionless expression formed across Talitha's face as she slowly stood up and pulled her arms out from behind her, snapping the restraint with ease.
She regarded the trembling man in the doorway with empty curiosity and closed her eyes,
"Now what should we do with him?" The entity concluded as an eerie smile developed on Talitha's face before the room went black and no sounds or movement could be detected again.
