SYNOPSIS
Isabella Steward is a princess. A princess of marriageable age. Her father the King, though he would rather see her happy than married off to a stuffy old noble, must bend to the will of his second wife, the former Lady Tremaine. So a ball is held. Three balls, actually. And by the end of the week following the third ball, Isabella must be engaged- or be cut from the line of heirs in favor of her older step-brother, Harold.
Lord Carson Miraz is in great need of an advantageous marriage. He has recently inherited everything from his deceased father... Including his debt. Marrying the princess Isabella would solve all his problems... If she'll have him, that is.
