I can't hear,I can't fucking hear

Alijah's POV:
I was sleeping peacefully until I heard someone open my door.I open my eyes and I see Hope standing in front of my bed glaring at me for some reason.I rub my eyes and get out of my bed and look at Hope.

"What did I do now?"I asked her

"Did you start another fight with Blake?"Hope asked me crossing her arms

"No,why do you ask?"I asked her walking over to my dresser and finding some clothes

"There's a rumor going around that Blake is going to beat you into a pulp."She said

"Like he can beat me up."I said scoffing and grabbing a long red plaid shirt and black pants

"Just be careful."She said sitting on my bed

"I will ok,trust me."I said walking into my bathroom and getting dressed

When I got dressed I brushed my teeth,washed my face,did my hair,gave Billy a bath and fed him.When I was done I grabbed my phone and jacket and gave Billy a kiss on the head and me and Hope walked out the door.

"Now what are you going to do about Blake?"Hope asked me

"What are y'all talking about?"Lizzie asked us walking beside me with Josie walking beside Hope

"We're talking about how Blake is planning to try to beat me up or whatever and Hope here is wondering what I'm going to do."I said to her

"What are you going to do?"Josie asked me when we walked outside to the lake

"Nothing,I don't care really."I said shrugging

"I have a really bad feeling about this Alijah."Hope said to me looking worried

"Yea, something doesn't feel right."Lizzie said and Josie nodded in agreement

"Why?"I asked them confused staring out at the lake

"I don't know,but I feel like you might get hurt."Josie said

"Well don't jinx it then."I said staring at them

"Well,well look at what we have here."Blake said standing behind us with the whole school there to probably hearing about the fight

"Wow,this is just sad ya know."I said crossing my arms and turning around with Lizzie,Josie,and Hope doing the same

"Look I'm going to give you one more chance ok,let me have control again and I won't embarrass you."He said

"Yea no,I don't think so."I said raising my eyebrow

"Than I guess will have to do it the way I didn't think I would have to."He said walking closer to me

"What the hell are you talking about?"I asked him confused when he got in my face

"This."He said shoving me to the ground like really hard(which is shocking because I didn't know he had that my strength)on a rock

"What the fuck!"I yelled grabbing my ear when I felt it bleeding and hurting so fucking much

"Alijah are you ok?"Hope asked me

"I can't hear you."I said freaking out a little because I couldn't hear what she said I was only able to read her mouth,which thank God for that.

"What do you mean you can't hear?!"Hope asked me scared

"I can't hear,I CANT FUCKING HEAR.!"I screamed in pain

"What did you do?!"Lizzie asked Blake angrily

"I don't know all I did was push her down."He said nervously glancing down at me

"Dude,when you pushed her she fell on a rock and landed on her ear."One of Blake's friends said leaning down in front of me.

"Can you read my lips?"He asked me and I nodded my head

"That's good,can you hear anything?"He asked me

"No,I can't hear anything at all."I said

"She needs to go to the hospital."He said looking at Hope and she nods her head and helps me up

"This isn't over."She said glaring at Blake who gulps in fear

Hope,Lizzie,and Josie drive me to the hospital to obviously make sure I don't have a concussion and to check on my ear.After all the test they tell me the one thing I have been dreading to hear.That I've gone deaf in my right ear and I have never seen Hope get so mad in my life,it was honestly more scary than being deaf because Blake was a dead man.
