Veronica's POV....

Selena and I had gone to Winky Dinky to get icecream. I had got cookies and cream and she got chocolate chips. We were both sitting on my car staring at the ocean. It was windy and cool.

"This is uhm... unexpected." Selena said breaking the silence.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I always wished that we would do this again, like we did when we were younger but then... unexpected things happened." She said and I looked away eating a bite of my icecream.

"Yeah. I guess that's how destiny works. We get the unexpected which makes the expected destroyed, meaning lost of hope." I said.

"Where'd you pull that one from?" Selena asked and I laughed.

"I'm sorry. About everything, and the way how things turned out between us for all those years." I finally said apologetically.

"Ronnie, its fine. I'd be the same way to if I was in your place." She said.

"Thanks." I said.

"You wanted to know about the Black Masked and White Masked?" She asked.

"Yes. Tell me everything you know about it, even the littlest detail." I said.

"Why all of a sudden?" Selena asked and sighed.

"I just- wanna know. About more of my... my parent's history." I said.

"Ronnie. If there's something going on, I'm here. I can help you." She said.

"You can't." I said.

"I can try. You can trust me, come on." She said.

"Its not about trust Selena. I just can't right now." I said. Your life will be in danger if I say one word about Black Masked and what they've done.

"Alright then. Well it started a few years ago, before your dad died..." She started to explain the whole history.

Kaitlyn's POV....

I was laying in bed, just staring at the ceiling. My foot was still in a lot of pain.
Then someone knocked on my bedroom door.

"Come in!" I said.

"Hey." Ava said walking in. I sat up as she came and sit next to me.

"Hey." I said. Pretty sure I'm still pissed at her for what she did.

"How're you feeling?" She asked.

"Like I just came out the hospital and my best friend isn't around." I said straight up as she sighed.

"Was it my fault she left?" Ava asked and I looked at her confused.

"You're seriously asking that?" I asked.

"Katie, she choose to leave. I didn't tell her to." She said.

"What?! You cannot be serious right now! You said some hurtful things to her Ava! The least you can do now is apologize." I said and she got up from the bed.

"The last thing she's gonna get from me is an apology. Its never gonna happen!" She said about to leave when I spoke.

"The truth is Ava, if you really think the Johnson's are that bad then you're no better than they are!" I said. She stopped at her door for a few seconds before leaving my room.

"Damn it!" I said passing my hand through my hair.
