✮彡 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒 ─── they met during seungyeon's last year in jyp, seungyeon having been assigned to help ryujin get familiar with the place. they were attracted to each other almost right away. they tried a relationship, but due to being unable to see each other often, they eventually lost feelings and broke up.

✮彡 𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒 ─── The reason Seungyeon has trust issues and didn't even try to get into a relationship until two years later. The man abused her verbally and even physically, although those were rare occurrences. Their relationship only lasted as long as it did because Seungyeon knew how to hide any bruises and because being in the industry for so long made her practically immune to flinching at any voice raising. It didn't however make her immune to flinching at any sudden movements. That was one of the first moments, the members even suspecting it could have been a staff, but she hadn't changed behaviour with them. Another moment was while they were practicing, Seungyeon's shirt, which was usually tucked, had slipped out of the sweatpants 'hold' and rode upwards when the girl stretched. At first, they thought it was just the lighting but when they got a good look at it when Seungyeon went to fix her sports bra, they quickly understood the dark spot was a bruise. Although they did do an intervention to explain what he was doing was obviously abusive behaviour, it wasn't until Seungcheol caught him yelling at his sister through the phone that they broke up. Seungyeon got a restraining order against him and has never seen him since.
