Joshua had woken up with a soaring headache immediately feeling horrible. he knew better than to drink but decided to anyway and now he had to deal with the consequences.
Seokmin had called him up earlier this morning making sure he got home safe and scolding him to make some haejangguk soup for his hangover.
Joshua turned on the stove and carefully poured the water into the pot. He chopped the garlic, the scent making him shrivel.
"Ow!" Joshua gasped, he had cut his hand while chopping the garlic. He should have known better than to use a knife; he has always been clumsy. He sighed walking into the bathroom and grabbing the first aid kit, maybe he should have just bought some medicine instead of going through all this trouble to make soup.
He wrapped the band aid over his finger and walked back into the kitchen. Joshua groaned, it was already 7:48 and he had to go to work at 8. He would have no time to cook the soup and instead decided to just go ahead and leave.

.And so it wasn't the best idea to go to work with an empty stomach because it was now only 10:00 and he was starving. He could just wait it out until his lunch break but that was still two hours away and he could barely focus on the stupid paperwork he was supposed to be typing.
He decided to just go get a snack from the vending machine after all he would just be gone for a minute. But he was still nervous because he wasn't exactly supposed to be leaving the office without permission.
The hallway seemed to be never ending as Joshua walked through it, seriously why was the vending machine so far away? At last the hallway seemed to end and Joshua found the machine. He inserted two dollars to get some potato chips and waited for it to fall except it never fell and instead got stuck. Just his luck.
Joshua sighed he had two options, he could shake the machine or he could just go back to the office. However if he went back his pride would be hurt because he would have wasted all this time and two dollars. He just wanted to scream at this point everything that he did ended badly and a vending machine would be no exception.
"Need some help?" Joshua jumped at the voice. He turned around to find a man a little taller than him, he had medium blonde hair and wore a black suit. His name tag read "Mr. Yoon" He must be important. Joshua gulped.
"Ah, I was just getting a snack and it seemed to have gotten stuck." Joshua nervously smiled, ugh he looked like a quirky idiot standing next to this well dressed man he nagged himself. The man glanced at the money stealer (vending machine) and then back at Joshua.
"You shouldn't be here, why aren't you in your office?" The man asked sternly.
"I'm sorry sir I got hungry and I uh- wanted to get a snack." The man frowned, obviously not satisfied with Joshua's lame excuse.
"You should always eat well so that you won't go hungry." The man glared again and Joshua just nodded a little while fidgeting with his sleeve, suddenly feeling more anxious than before.
"Joshua there you are!" A yell was heard down the hall. Joshua shook, his boss had caught him. Should he just make a run for it? No, that would be a ridiculous idea he would immediately get fired.
"Joshua, I was looking for you everywhere in the office." Joshua's boss announced.
"I'm sorry sir." Joshua bowed politely. Most people would think he wasn't being sincere but Joshua had actually meant it. He was truly sorry. Sorry for himself.
"I wanted to introduce you to someone but I see you've already found him."
Joshua looked around confused until his eyes landed on the blonde headed man.
"Joshua this is your new boss Yoon Jeonghan. Jeonghan this is Hong Jisoo, or preferably Joshua."
"Pardon?" Joshua furrowed still sort of oblivious as to what was going on right now.
"This is your new boss, I've decided to retire."
The man smiled, "Nice to meet you."
Joshua thought he was going to die. Way to go Josh, what a good first impression on your new boss. Damn it he had terrible luck for sure.
