Chapter one

Three weeks before her seventh birthday Gwen Enda is enjoying her Summer vacation in her town of Haven County her aunt Wilma is dying for her special day even if she nor Gwen's uncle Edward is fond of the town's biggest church they seen as far as that filled bird corpses on a steak that's a town tourist spot.

"So Gabe," says Wilma "What are you planning on getting for Gwen on her birthday. Then Gabe Enda get his head out from under the hood of his vab and says to her sister "Nothing fancy like her famous aunt coming over." Then Wilma says "My T.V Fame is all behind me and your in-laws and I are working for Hinobi on research and development nowadays." Then Gabe close the hood of his van and says wall cleaning the grease off his face " well the church you seem to run the town find all the consumer store material childish and have parents to take all the team child there's like Hinobi games to be removed from their household and deposit them to any place they see fit when their kids turn 14." William find it crazy and and says to him "What wrong with this town?" Gabe have wonder that himself and says "Hey even I know it sounds like cutting could Turkey but that how it is here." Before heading in to see Gwen Williams says to Gabe "Well you better understand the concept of free will before you lose something that important to you."

Once Wilma she see Gwen watching a Knight of the Power stone rerun on the T.V and says to Gwen "So your birthday is in three week what do you like to do on your special day?" Gwen took sometime to think and say when her dad came in " attendee the Hinobi Card game tournament." Then Gwen dad eyes widen a bit since local church don't take kindly to Skippers and then sad without making a scene "Ah Gwen sweetie you have a little something at the church on that day and they wouldn't like it if you skip this over a new card game." Even if Wilma find it silly and then says " since when do churches run towns?"

Then Gabe says " I know it sounds crazy but the local church is very influential in this town most of a local office attend on special an appointed occasions and my daughter's baptism on her birthday is no exception." Wilma slaps her head like he's a sheeple and then says to her "Can you try convince the priests or whoever is in charge to postpone it to next year  at least?" Gabe know the the ones in charge are very iron type the conditions I don't take kindly to anyone who goes back on them there was a time when they burn those that they think are Heretics at the stake the feel they used to use is the town's only landmark and then he says "I'll do what I can but I can't make any promises that I can't keep." Then Gabe heads into his personal room then with my looks like when who is still glued to the TV one of a kind of life she would have if she stays in this town.
