After getting away from Brixton, they parked somewhere away from attention and Valerie had awaken just seconds before. Deckard popped open the door and Hattie instantly ran over to her side and helped her out, checking on her side that wasn't bleeding. "Okay, ride's over. Gotta lose this car." Deckard announced, making Val frown as she was the one to gift it to him.

"You're so lucky we have more cars." Valerie mumbled and walked over to the boys, her arm tangled with Hattie' who was keeping Valerie by her at all time. They all walked up to see, Hobbs and Deckard on the a news screen where they were targeted as wanted. "It just got real," Hobbs said, not going unnoticed by him that Valerie wasn't on the screen. Meaning Brixton wanted her alive and with Hattie as well.

"Who the hell are these guys?" Hattie asked.

"Eteon. A most secret tech cult. With a mercenary army and plenty of dark money. And delusions of saving the world by augmenting the human race." Deckard explained, Valerie not once taking her eyes off of her husband. "Apparently they control the media as well," Hattie commented.

Valerie wanted to keep Deckard out of it and away from Brixton. She felt it was her responsibility to put him down after Brixton used her to get Deckard onto his side. It was her fault Brixton got involved with Eteon, all because they originally wanted her, and when she declined, they went after Brixton. Knowing Brixton was someone Valerie cared for, he could be easily manipulated.

"I've heard rumors about these people. Everybody thinks they're a myth." Hobbs said, glancing over at Valerie and Hattie.

"We've seen first hand how real they are. If we don't fit to their plans... we already dug our own grave." Valerie said, holding her side in pain whilst her other arm wrapped around Hattie, since Hats refused to let her go.

"All right, let's get to the nearest lockdown facility." Hobbs said, making Valerie roll her eyes because Deckard and Hobbs were going to argue again.

"No, no, no. You don't get it, do you? Brixton's a tier one assassin. Best I've ever seen. Besides Val. I know him. He ain't never gonna stop. Till he gets that virus. And besides, that's my sister. Family business. Is your name Shaw? No. Then she's going nowhere with you." Deck argued further, Hattie and Valerie glanced at each other before rolling their eyes.

"When it comes to the fate of the world, it becomes my business. I don't care if she's your sister. That woman ain't going anywhere..." Hattie and Valerie had already been walking away during the arguing. Valerie bit down on her lip, still feeling sharp pain in her abdomen.
