Valerie sat down beside Tej on the makeshift bed in the delivery truck that they would be traveling in since they needed to stay hidden. Because Cipher now had Gods Eye and they could easily be found. She leaned her head on his shoulder, still upset about her father. Tej wanted to say something but he knew he it would upset her and he didn't want to do that.

"Are you sure nobody knows?" Valerie whispered to Tej, not knowing Deckard and Roman could hear the conversation. "Yeah baby. I didn't say a word." He said back, rubbing her arm in a comforting matter.

"Well, someone found out then."

"What do you mean?" He said back, wondering exactly what she was talking about. "Deckard mentioned something about us. And I think he may have found out." Valerie sighed, not wanting anyone to find out about hers and Tej' fling after the mission to catch Deckard.

"So you're telling me, you're killing crazy ex-boyfriend found out we slept together? And I might die?" Tej said, concerned now for his safety. "Not exactly. But now that you say it aloud, I think so..."

The sound of small laughter made them turn their heads, it was Roman, obviously. "Hold up. Y'all did the nasty together? When was this? Shit. Didn't even bother to invite me?" Roman laughed, making Deckard glare and Valerie sigh.

"Watch it." Deckard glared at Roman for the small threesome comment.

"Shut the hell up. It was a long time ago, and none of your business." Valerie rolled her eyes and walked over to the small makeshift couch in the corner, away from everyone. Deckard sighed and walked over, sitting across her.

She smiled but faintly and not noticeable, and pulled out her phone. "Hey mum." She smiled, picking up the phone from her mums contact name appearing.
