Bakugou POV

Me and shitty hair get back to the house after cutting up a bunch of wood can't say it wasn't a pain in the ass I walk in with shitty hair behind me obviously when I see Mina walking back and forth in front of the dinner table and a bag of food on the said table she probably went to buy more food with halfie

I look around but I don't see him and I could see Minas fear when she looks at me "I s-swear I only turned around for a s-second!!"she yelled stuttering "what the heck are you talking about?" I asked confused as fuck

"It's sho I swear I swear on the dragons flames I only turned around for a sec and poof he was gone!!!" she yelled "wait. You lost half and half?" I asked "YES"she yelled looking like she was about to faint I ran past shitty hair who I could tell was trying to calm Mina down I have to find him it's already past sunset and it's not the safest place to be wandering around not knowing how dangerous this place can be

Or if he gets smashed by the dancing crowd my tribe loves to party knowing he's a outsider everyone will want to talk to him or something I run into town looking around while I over hear Mrs hina she was friends with shitty hairs mom when our parents didn't make it she took care of us as much as she could she was a kind woman and you could spot her anywhere with her white hair I saw her with her kid walking away from the central musicians

"Mrs hina have you seen a white and red haired guy he's the same hight as Mina he's got two different coolered eyes and-" I ranted "oooh you mean the guy with the beautiful hair yes yes I saw him in the crowd how come"she asked while holding her kid she just had him 3 years ago he's alr Ig "nothing just looking for him thanks hina"I said running past her I could see her smile and keep walking before I left I run into the crowd when I spot his hair

I run past pushing the people past me when I see him he looks scared? He's just frozen standing there looking in the ground I couldn't tell what was happening I reach for him I didn't even think before I pulled him into my chest wrapping my arm around him "halfie you alright what the fuck are you doing here??!!"I asked relived I found him but still don't have a fucking clue what happened

All I felt was him hugging I was shocked at first but I hugged him back "let's get outta here the music's loud as hell" I said I felt him nod I grabbed his wrist pushing by the crowd with him I looked back to see if he was ok I look him in the eyes it looked like he was about to cry my heart ached once he looked me in the eyes I could see a small smile I couldn't help but look away It made my face feel hot

Once we pushed by the crowd we walked to the town home I let go of his wrist noticing I was holding it this whole time he was still looking down a bit and I was still worried about what happened "are you ok?what the hell happened " I asked looking at him

"I uh I saw someone who looked like my mom"he said still looking down with that we stayed quiet still walking he's never really told me much about his life I know how he is and how he's like but I don't know what he's been through good or bad I can't help but feel stupid  to be honest he knows what we've all been through and how each on of us is

Yet I never took the time to get to know his past I was to busy thinking of him leaving or trying to resolve how I felt about him "well can't say there haven't been times like that for me either" I said chuckling a bit I was nervous on what to say I can't believe how stupid i am I mentally slapped myself

"It's never happened for me before my mom was someone with features I never thought or seen other people had" he said chuckling looking at me hearing his laugh and seeing him smile I could help but blush a bit I hate this

"By 'was' do you mean she uh"I asked "ya she uh she took her own life when I was seven" he said "I still remember her vividly she had long white hair that looked like snow brownish grey eyes and a smooth kind sounding voice " he said smiling "she sounded beautiful" I said "not like mine she had spiky blond hair with a voice that would rip your ears out"I said rolling my eyes she was a hag sometimes but hey she was my mom I guess I heard him laugh and look at him "you too were identical then"he said laughing "WHAT WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!!?!" I yell

all I get in response was him laughing harder and whining away a tear from his eye "you know I really like spending time with you I rarely like talking about my mother but it's nice to remember" he said smiling looking at me I turn around with just a 'tch' as a response as we get closer to the house
