Todoroki POV

It's been a day since I've been back to the castle I haven't been allowed to leave it to even go into the village or even let people see me my siblings, friends and everything I do has to be with two knights stuck to my side I'm honestly relieved they don't follow me to the bathroom as well at least i have the privilege to do my business alone

I was in my room cleaning for a while since i left I really have leanred to do things for myself one of them is cleaning Mina was still teaching me how to cook I think baking is more my style really. I was making my bed as I heard knocking and sadly recognized whi it was "hello dear! What are you doing?" shindo asked as he walked in "don't call me that I'm cleaning what do you want"I asked as I crossed my arms he layed down on the bed I JUST made and looked over to me "nothing just wondering if you thought of any of the wedding things you would like for us" he asked as I rolled my eyes "I don't care chose what ever you would like" I said as I walked to finish organizing some of the books I had gotten from outside since I'm now stuck here I guess seeing the outside is lot better then nothing

"Oh come on you really don't have a dream wedding you'd like? I can make anything happen for you!" he said with enthusiasm "I know you don't actually care about the wedding your just marrying me to be king" I said as she laughed "oh shoto haha yea that was and still is my idea but hey if we're getting married and going to be together forever! Might as well make the most of it!" he said smiling "so what's your dream wedding?!" he asked sitting on the edge of MY bed

"Hm oh lots of flowers with a good view of a beautiful river nice music playing and food people dancing and laughing children running around everything blue and gold-oh and for me NOT to be marrying YOU"I said smiling as I rolled my eyes angrily and carried a box of trash outside as I walked outside guards right away got on both my sides and shindo followed me

"Oh come on sho we are getting married whether you want to or not might as well try to make it work I know we can" he said as I kept walking "shindso I know your not into men why in the world would you want this to work?!" I yelled "your right I'm not into men but there's something about you I just wouldn't mind if we got married you should be happy lots of woman and men would die for this opportunity with me!" he said proudly

"Yea I would die too but for the opposite cause" I said as I threw my box of trash out as I saw they haven't done anything to the garbage shoot they must have not figured out that's how I escaped

I walked back to my room as all of them still followed me my guards and shindso "alright alright shoto the wedding is in 2 days you don't have much of a choice since you won't contribute to the wedding planning I'll do it myself but stop being so fussy over this it's a order"he says as I turned around "a order? Since when do you 'order' me?!" I almost yelled "since I'm now your future husband and king of chikara I deserve and demand respect I have allowed you to bicker for long enough now" he said as I laughed "it's only been a day genius and you want to marry ME so if you don't like me that's fine by me I'm not changing"I said as he walked up to me andi felt his breath on my neck

"Let's not forget the deal we made about the dragon tribe I can easily get rid of them once and for all like your father tried to year's ago keep that in mind shoto" he said as he walked away slamming the door shut as all I felt was anger sadness

I was about to be in the same position my mother was put in and i hated every bit of it all the work i did for this not to happen and all I did was fall in love make that person hate me and hurt kind people putting in stake a tribe now I'm marrying a man who will make my life miserable

What do i have to live for now?

Is that what my mother thought of when she went through all of this she fell in love got captured married a man to protect the man she loved who ended up during anyways

Is that my outcome as well?

Will this all be in vain?
