(And ik kimonos are for wedding guest not necessarily for the person getting married but I didn't want to put todoroki in a dress just because so I went with something gender neutral) :)

Todoroki POV

It was early in the morning when i was woken up I was standing on a stand as they helped me prepare for the wedding first I took a bath that they prepared with milk, flower petals and herbs it was quite nice actually they washed my hair and made sure I was clean I was in a robe as they dried my hair then helped me get dressed into a white kimono with a floral felt on it as they styled my hair it had gotten long since I was in the dragon tribe I didn't really cut it they wanted to cut it but i asked them not too

They pushed my hair behind my ears and out flower pins to help it stay there as they out a bunch of jewelry on me as a custom of tradition I had dangling earings and lots of brackets and necklaces i got some sandles that were tan and white to wear as well the more they put on me I couldn't help but look into the mirror I can't believe I was getting married and to shindo a knight

I got sad thinking about it once they were done they left as the last few things were getting prepared i looked outside as I saw the decor the traditional decor of the kingdom had for weddings and all the guest laughing and talking as I also saw the stand where the blood ceremony would take place that's when I heard a knock on the door "come in" I said as I saw who it was

"Fuyumi?" I asked as she rushed to hug me "natsu?" I noticed as I asked he was here too and hugged me as well "oh shoto what are you doing where were you why are you back and here to marry someone?!?" she asked "yea what's going on where did you go and what's with this wedding thing?!? Is father behind this I swear I will-"I cut him off "Its fine I left to get out for a bit I was wrong on doing so I'm sorry but I'm fine" I said "why shoto why are you marrying him?" fuyumi asked "because I want to I promise I'm alright I want to marry him he's a good man"I said "I know you shoto you don't want to what is father doing to you?!" she asked "fuyumi I'm fine I know my reasoning and I'm sorry but i have to ask for you to leave I have to get ready for my wedding

"Shoto?" natsu asked as I pushed there hands away I could see there sad face and walked out till natsu turned to me "don't do this if you don't want too or you'll be living just like mom was"he said as he closed the door as I felt everything finally crashing down to me I cried I cried as hard as I could I can't believe I'm doing this I can't do this

I heard a knock "I'll be there in a second"I said "sir the wedding is starting you should come down to the alter now"she said with that I lifted myself of the ground and wiped my tears away I know why I'm doing this its to protect someone I really do love and I'm not happy to do this but I know I'll be more miserable if I didn't

I walk down as I took a deep breath as the doors opened and I see everyone stand as they see me and I see shindso smile once he saw me as well I kept walking as I saw my father he was next to shindo smiling but still with that evil look In his eyes I know he's up to something but what?

Once I got there I stood in front of shindo as we started the ceremony a knight held the sword as we were made to make a cut in our palms shindo grabbed the knife first as he sliced his right palm as he handed it to me I slice my left as I winced at the pain as I saw the blood come out what kind of ceremony is this?!

"Good now tighten your palm and let some of the blood fall on the knife" my father commanded as I did first then shindo all I saw was my father smiling something wasn't right with this

"Now hold the knife in both of your sliced palms up to the air and grabb this with your free hand" my father said as we did so he placed a old scroll in both of your hands "now chant this and your done"he said as he stepped back I look to the scroll as I saw old stained blood around the paper could some of this be my mother's? Is this really what she did?

We both started to chant what the scroll said "we are overjoyed to be uniting as one and letting this ceremony take place for we are both going to be one body one soul one mind we will be honored with the power given to us after this and not minding what comes in the future the pain and suffering for we appreciate the dragons blood ceremony power? -"we said as I backed away letting go of the knife as shindo still held I can't believe it I was a few words from finishing it this isn't right this sound like a ritual

"This this isn't anything but something for power is it father?!" I yelled "what"shindo asked "this isn't a traditional ceremony this is a magical ritual?!" I yelled "what no your father told me this is for marriage purposes he would never -"shindo said as he turned around to see my father angry

"Just funish the ritual God dammit!" he yelled out "I am not doing a ritual I accepted a marriage not you getting power from me or whatever this thing does!" I yelled then that's when I heard a large crash the doors open as I saw bakugou?

"Don't you DARE FINISH THIS! he said out of breath fuck do you guys have to make so many doors in this castle for fuck sakes God"he yelled as I have no idea what's going on anymore bakugou runs up to me as he pushes me behind him "your not finishing this ritual!" bakugou yelled as then I saw Mina dn kirishima run in as well as midorya and ururuake "what's going on?!" I asked "look we have a lot to talk about but the most important thing right now is that you do not do that ritual it ties you to your partner forever and kills you when you leave them and if you don't die from that you will go insane when you slowly start to combine with them to turn into one person the thing you get out of it is power for your offspring but you and your partner are killing yourselves for that!" he says as I'm now shocked I didn't even know something like that existed?!?

"This whole time this whole thing was so you can get stronger kids out of me?!?" I asked as my father glared at me "shindo you can still finish the ritual shoto blood is already in the ritual and did majority of it with you you can make you parent proud and be king! You just need to say 'in return you may have our lives' do it say it! "My father said trying to convince him as I watched in horror as shindo looked at me then at the knife and he lifted the knife and held the scrol in anothe hand

" shindo please don't do it! "I yelled out

As he did what none of use expected him to do.

Everything went quite as he grabbed the scroll and cut it in half with the knife

"NOOO!" my fathe yelled out as he went grabbed the cut up scroll I was about to yell out as I saw what shindo was about to do but it was to late as shindo grabbed the knife and stabbed it into my father

I watched in horror as bakugou held me back as my father bleed out from his mouth chocking as he had the knife stuck to the back of his neck

As I look up to see shindo he had a no emotions as he kicked my father down to let him bleed on the floor "this whole time it was a trick"he said as he gritted his teeth "he never thought I deserved anything he wanted to use me?! For his own gain for power?! Hahahahahahahh why why is it that everybody always wants me for something I will never be enough ever! Not for my parents not for the king and not for you." he said as he looked at me as bakugou still had me behind him

Mina and kirishima were ready to fight as well as midorya and ururuake "wait stop shindo please don't do anything rash my father he's gone your free you don't have to do anything who cares about your parents do what you want." I asked as I walked in front of bakugou "what I want." he repeated "I mean what is there now you go back to your lover and we all live happily ever after? This whole time I worked so hard to prove myself and I find out no matter how hard I try I never will win so what I want is....
