Bakugou POV

Me and shitty hair where doing field work it was already miday we still got a few hours left of work Mina left me know she was going to ayoyamas then to the food sellers place and halfie was going to his bakery job at first I was spectacle about him getting a job I could have payed for him fine but he's 'independent ' and didn't want my "charity"as he put it

"So how are things with shoto going"shitty hair asked as he was carrying vegetables to the carriage I did so as well since today we were on vegetable picking duty "there fine I guess"I answered "you know you should tell him how you feel it's almost time for the festival it's literally the day after tomorrow!" he said "ya I know I know as if I'm not busy with people asking me about festival decor"I said rolling my eyes

"You and Mina are together now huh"I said grinning I could see his face turn red like the tomatoes he was carrying "u-uh y-yeah"he said nervously "wait how did you know?!" he asked surprised "Mina already told like the whole fucking town it was about time since you too are dragon tied"I said "I know Im really happy about it if Im being honest I really do love her!" he said when your dragon tied it's basically a saying that anyone in the dragon tribe is tied to there first love it's almost impossible to stop loving them or some shit

I didn't believe it at first and I still kinda don't but my tribe believes it so I do too I guess "I guess shoto is your dragon tie too then huh"he says nudging into me "SHUT UP"I yelled as I threw the last box inside the carriage I hadn't even thought about that what if halfie was my dragon tie?

"You should really I mean really tell him how you feel I know he likes you back"he said while closing the carriage door "what?!" I asked in surprise "well ya the way he looks at you or blushes and I can see he worries about you" he says smiling while putting his hand on my shoulder "you got this just go for it!" he says I slapped his hand away and go pick up my tools

"I'll think about it" I said "alright alright let's just hope nobody beats ya to it"he says I stopped in my tracks and turned around to him "what?" I asked "O nothing I just might have overheard someone say they like shoto too and there planning on confessing to him at the bakery" he said grabbing the tools from me "what?!? When?!??!!?!" I asked frantically

"About right now I bet if you run you'll make it in time to stop them or don't and shoto might be kissing it up with the other guy your choice"he said smirking "you better not be lieing shitty hair or I'll kill you!" I yelled as I ran for the bakery even if he was or was not lieing I don't know and I'm not letting anyone take him from me

I run past everyone and push my way through the crowd as I run I hear people yelling asking what was going on and if everything was ok all I could do was scream that everything is fine and I had a urgency I ran past to the bakery and open the door loudly I could see halfie turn around shocked pulling out a tray with bread on it

I walk up to the counter  "first of nobody's been here yet to tell you something right?!" I asked I didn't even notice how out of breath I was till I started talking "no? It's actually been a slow day today wait why?" he asked fuck well I might as well tell him for fuck sake here goes nothing who knows this might be a good thing
